To: Great Britain
From: Confederate States of America
The Confederacy is weak and Russian influence loom over the icy caps of Alaska. We will willingly come under the rule of British Crown, but would you will let the us unite with the United States of America? The Union cannot bear to be separated. Also, even though Confederacy is industrializing, we do not have enough land to accomodate for both heavy industry and mass agriculture. It would be better for us, CSA and USA, and you if the cotton field can thrive in the south while the forges roar in the north. This, of course, have already been discussed with the president of United States; they too, wish for reunification, even under British rule. With your consent, President Coolidge will serve British Crown as Vice Governor and President Haynes, as Lord Governor. Your predecessor, wise and powerful Queen Victoria, God rest her soul, have also wished Confederacy under the Commonwealth as well. Now that slavery is abolished and government adopts more liberal view, as a unified nation under the British Crown, we will promise loyalty and tribute.
Sincerely,
Thomas Haynes
President of Confederate States of America
Calvin Coolidge
