OOC: It's too OOC for China to sign this. Think about it, even if the leader of the Republic of China was Chinese, the Chinese HATED foreigners (Boxer Rebellion) and would surely not accept their help. Plus, wouldn't the Japanese have many military forces in China? Surely they would not allow their subjects to go prance off with the British.

I always thought he was the white Rebellion area.... that was really who I was thinking of during these diplomatic meetings between us and China.

No, Republic of China is the red area that comprises of the majority of China.

As for China agreeing to this treaty, maybe they have ulterior motives, or maybe they are afraid something or maybe they are just looking for protection.... I am sure it is not unrealistic for the US to accept North Korea's support if they are in severe trouble. Unlikely yes, but not unrealistic.

Russia wishes the restoration of Imperialist China, led by the rightful Emperor. This is why we got involved in the Japanese War of Aggression. We were under the impression that China would be liberated, and with it Korea, as a democracy.

Perhaps a partitioning of China could be amended to the treaty? North-South split.

In my honest opinion, lots happened.

Portions of southern China fell to the British military and China's chances for fighting them off were simply bleak.

In the north, Manchuria was on the verge of being overwhelmed by Russian forces and the Dutch threat loomed in Korea.

To the East, my protectorate's capital was taken.

I don't see how switching out from a losing side is OOC.

The only reason I think you're accepting this is because your Commonwealth alliance gets an additional nation added to it, making it even more formidable than before.

I will admit, I haven't been around in this forum long enough. Quite possibly I could be wrong.

But, Nuclear kid put Japan and Republic of China as SEPARATE stats. The capital of China is Beijing, which is located near Korea and Manchuria, in nothern China. That area is all red.

The only reason I think you're accepting this is because your Commonwealth alliance gets an additional nation added to it, making it even more formidable than before.

To tell you the truth, I knew accepting this would ultimatly lead to my demise, but hopefully I could make China powerfull like the UCSA and prevent such a thing from actually happening.

But I have a feeling it is not going to be Russia or even the Dutch that cause the British Empire to collapse. The tip will begin with either China or UCSA as both of those are the only nations capable of beating us in the long run.

So I know the risks, and tried to get them to go down a different path but in the end, like you said, our greed eventually got the better of us.

Well actually I believe the ruler is in India or South Asia under our protection as he fled the Japanese juggernaut and asked for our protection I think last turn.

No. It was acomplished secretly as no one knew about these messages until Lightfang and MrPwn3r decided to make OOC comments about it.

And, just to quote myself earlier, I have 20 indepedent infantry divisions, and a fully functional army and navy. Just because I can't beat the Japanese on my own does not mean that I blindly follow them onto death.
