Nuke Nes: After Victoria

@Nuke.

You were very much right. I had no idea what I was doing. Multitasking on AIM, Halo, English 10 page essay, and NESing can be quite bad for the health.

@Dld

I think its the sb guy.
Wilhelmina is only in her 30's, although that was considered "old" back then. :p

To: Noble Alliance
From: UCSA

UCSA declares that we will leave the Noble Alliance if Republic of China is admitted to Noble Alliance. The intention of Republic of China was unclear, but most likely assumed to seek military protection from British and rest of Noble Alliance for only its reason being the military unification of China. UCSA was willing to tolerate this until we saw that Russia has extended similar offer, to join the Grand Alliance, to Imperial China "to act as a counterbalance for Republican China's joining of the Noble Alliance". UCSA finds that this is, although indirectly, a violation of removal of Europe's military influence on Asia, opposed to the purpose of creating these nations at all. And still, the fourteenth point of the UCSA's points have not been answered to. The purpose of association of nations was to prevent exactly this. Britain and Russia may say that there are no rules that this is not allowed, but UCSA will not tolerate vile schemes to spread European influence with play of words.

We would like to arrange a marriage between our President Thomas Haynes and one of British princesses, if possible, Elizabeth, in order to strengthen our relationship.

OOC: :p @ Greece and Russia

Princess Elizabeth is next in line for the throne of England, if you marry her, and she becomes Queen your nation once again goes under British control. But Thomas Haynes does become a King but with no real power. So the choice is yours.

To Republic China; Noble Alliance

We cannot afford be drawn into a war that Republican China may get itself into, therefore we are turning them down and hope that the rest of the Alliance does so as well.

This is in no way influenced by the UCSA, this is purely what the British needs for their protection.

One other, Princess Margaret. But we must caution you, she is second in line for the throne, so if Elizabeth fails to produce children or dies early, she becomes Queen.

(Highly unlikely, but do you want to take that chance? Especially with Nukekid?)

But we do have Ladies. Perhaps Lady Daphne is a prominent member of the British rank, her previous husband held the office of Foriegn Affairs and held alot of power within the government, the King still listens to her. She is also wealthy.

As the brides father, I have made Westminister Hall available for the wedding. We have secured a hotel for your guests and parents. England eagerly anticipates your arrival.

Note: Westminister Hall is RL Westminister Palace. But since Parlament is no more, it is a Hall.

We apologize, but we request that Princess Margaret to come to Washington D.C. Forgive us for our paranoia, but recently, many world leaders have been assassinated, and even the King of Britain himself has been, only last year. We dare not send our President over there.

Have you considered my proposal to marry a Russian Princess? I have heard great things about your countries women and would love to join our to royal houses.

We apologize, but the demand for Russian princesses seems to have far outstripped supply.

There is literally nobody left to be married. At least, no Romanov. Not even a distant cousin (or so Nuke tells me).

Do not misconstrue our words. We were and are against the Chinas joined either of our respective alliances. However, how could we feel safe with a Republic of China joining the Noble Alliance? How could we make sure that Imperial China, the proper ruler of China, would not be unfairly ousted in competition? Thus we had to extend a hand to them as per our foreign policy of tit for tat. Now that the situation has been resolved, we withdraw our offer for Imperial China to join the Grand Alliance.

We will however still be launching that joint military operation against the rogue forces of Communist China with Imperial China and the UCSA.

Security has been increased since last year, there are now 5 infantry divisions plus 1 armored regiment at Buckingham Palace, and I promise you that you and your guest will recieve the top protection we can offer. But if you are still worried about assassination, perhaps a secret location in India is not to out of the question? Even Canada?

We insist that the marriage take place on British lands, or at the very least, some sembelance of British lands, like Canada or Australia.

Have it take place in Russia! We will lend the couple the Ice Palace.

Perhaps for their honeymoon. ;)

OOC: I wanted to go there once, but then I heard Russia was a bad place to go so I dropped it and went to Rome instead. :(

Very well. President Thomas Haynes will go to Britain for the wedding (We cannot trust Canada either since their entire parliament building was blown up). He will have 2 regiments of armed marines escorting him as well as full naval escort convoy to ensure his safety. Should any misfortune befall on the President, Britain will take full responsibility.

Of course, whenever foriegn dignitaries die in our lands, we are taking full responsibility, though none have ever died here before. Your marines and navy escorts are welcome, we will secure a port for only your ships and the port will be closed to all civilians and merchant traffic.

Thank you for your understanding. We will go at once.

OOC: Can you write the wedding story? Apparently, you're better at story writing.

Germany nominates Constantine I of Greece his nation has remained peaceful throughout troubling times and has held one of the greatest sporting events of all times.

No, you do have cousins, just no sisters

You all have several Princesses, even if you have to just make them up.

(It would seem random just to have 4, so I'm being nice :D)
