Guess what? We have no coal!
Peter has four sources of coal. We need to decide if we want to try and steal one!
If we put a Settler down right next to it, and try for another Great Artist. While waiting for the GA, we start building cultural buildings. Follow those up with a couple of Cathedrals. It is just possible that by the time we have researched Railroads, we just might have coal.
Walata finishes: Worker and begins: Settler I think we should try and steal the coal. I did not hire the Artists, though. Walata is the current favorite for the next Great Person in 23 turns.
Kumbi Saleh finishes: Confucian Missionary and begins: Confucian Missionary
Delphi finishes: Forbidden Palace and begins: Barracks
Sparta finishes: Library and begins: University
Hinduism has spread: Athens
Since we have two wars going on (Tokugawa vs Cyrus and Victoria vs Mao), I thought I should post the current power graph. Tokugawa has a commanding lead. Peter is quickly catching up to us.
Here are our current troop levels.
Notice that all of the archery and melee units are gone. I disbanded some and upgraded others. I really think we should hang on to the elephants and cats rather than disbanding them. Also, those two Missionaries are probably on GoTo orders. I think I forget to clear the orders before saving. The next person may want to check that out. Sorry for the inconvenience.
It should also be noted that it looks like Tokugawa is going to relieve the pressure on Culture. It's a shame that Hermitage has already been completed.
The Statue of Liberty will be complete in Niani next turn. The city still needs to build National Epic and Globe Theatre, though. Since we are running Universal Suffrage, I decided to keep the cottages around for the extra hammers. Do not farm them over until the 2 wonders are built!
