OK, well I'm back from travels in the eastern USA, Germany and Italy. My life in Seattle has come to an end, and I'm now in Scotland. I have a backlog of threads dating back quite a while. I eventually hope to respond to the most important ones , but internet access is still irregular ATM!

I'm new to the forums and this appears to be the designated place for me to introduce myself. I started playing Civ about a year ago and have been lurking on these forums since soon after that. I've never had a desire to post until now (i'm a member of more boards than I ever really wanted to be and having been fighting the urgy to add another) when I finally had a question that I couldn't find an answer for in either the War Acedemy or by searching through the forums (have asked said question in the appropriatte forum).
I'm currently a regent level player (just jumped up there a few games ago and have been succesful at the new difficulty) and use CivIII vanilla unpatched (i'm being lazy about dl the patch).
A bit about myself. I work in the insurance industry taking new claims over the phone (boring, yes, but it pays the bills). I'm a single father of two beautiful little girls (which does not leave me much time for CIVing, or antying else for that matter). I enjoy computer games, reading (almost anything), and chess amoung other hobbies.
