Ah, gotta love that gerrymandering.

This is in my mind the main reason that extremism is on the rise. The first step towards fixing our government is intentionally gerrymandering districts for a fair election.
I could speak more on this but I need to not be a hypocrite (*coughcough*OP*coughcough*)

It's exactly the reason why, as gerrymandering entrenches power in states with a clear slant in politics. My state is infamous for it.

That giant strip that snakes through stuff hits several major places where ethnic minorities are, concentrating most of our state's African American and Latino voters into one place.

Alabama again but now, SUPER REPUBLICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mwaha: :mwaha: :mwaha:

So not much different now? :D I live in the upper gray district. I would say Alabama is one of the most Republican states in America. The Alabama Republican Party has 26 out of 35 seats in the State Upper House. And 72 out of 105 in the State Lower House. Alabama hasn't voted for a Democratic president since 1976, and being a Democrat was different. George Wallace was a democrat :p

Also note, I'm not talking about politics, I'm discussing facts and history :D

State Upper and Lower houses? Does this mean members from your state that are part of the Federal Upper and Lower chambers, or do you mean you have Upper and Lower chambers in each state?

Well then you should know that in both redistricting,it's a swing district with a bit towards republicans (between 1% to 3%) unless it's towards the west cause in the other democratic Alabama that i did (last page), it was a solid republican. Also, IRL, Alabama has 1 democratic representative. In this one, there is none.

100% sure it's the state upper and lower cause Senate has 100 seats and each state has only 2 senators.

Being a state senator is not very impressive :p my teacher's dentist was a state senator. Every state has a governmental system just like the federal one. It has an executive branch (Governor (President) and Lieutenant Governor (Vice President). There's a Judicial Branch with their own Supreme Court. And there's a Congress with House of Representatives and Senate.

Because America is like a bunch of countries under the rule of a larger government. Like the UK. Each state has a militia as well (National Guard). I mean. Basically, each section of a state is represented in the state legislative branch. Then, each state is represented in the federal legislative branch, Congress. It's a nice system.

Until you realize how Gerrymandering has ruined the entire thing and left Washington in the hands of lobby-corrupted radicals.

Politics!!! Oh CODE RED CODE RED CODE RED

But seriously, Alabama was in the Confederate States, but that was in the 1860s. Unfortunately, there are some people in the Bible Belt that still act like it is, though...
