Now I understand. Thanks to both of you!

Are there releases of TV shows or movies with nudity blurred? I can't recommend Breaking Bad to any religious friends if it shows topless women.

Some countries e.g. China blur or cut out scenes with nudity. So you might be able to download a Chinese version with subtitles that remove that sort of stuff. (They also remove drug use, I believe).

"Uh, i'd love to watch this show where people get hurt or killed by lung cancer, hand guns, rifles, bombs, hatchets, meth, heroin, being crushed under an ATM machine, and all this is depicted in graphic detail.
Too bad i can't, cause it also has naked womenfolk..."

Not good for Breaking Bad.

Religious people. They probably don't even know what breasts look like underneath.

That can be changed. What are billboards good for, after all?
Religious people.
It doesn't make any more sense in italics.

When Saudi Arabia has one of the usual hickups about women being people, everybody whigs out about it, people make some dubious remarks, until eventually the PC brigade steps in to clarify that the criticism is about a culture (or [insertstufftheysay]) not a religion, because - supposedly - it can't be the hallmark of a religion to be batpoop insane.

But when it comes to Christianity and Judaism people fail to keep their stuff straight and appreciate that if this is true, the reverse must also be true:
One's religion is no excuse for being pathologically prude.

I mean Haredim.

I recommend reading Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki with the website-provided nudity filter on (which is the default option anyway).

People are always good at finding excuses… some find race as an excuse for being insufferable idiots, others use atheism instead of religion, and so forth. Almost anything can be an excuse.

Is there any device now or in planning that could let others hear your voice the way you hear it?

Why not the reverse?

others use atheism
Yeah, except that in pratical application this is more often a false equivalency than not.

This is true in this case too:
Being relatively kinda, sorta ok(-ish) with mild female nudity or at least tolerant of it is not a made up fancy ideology in an equal competition with [stuff about female nipples] some "religious" people come up with.

If you can torrent a version that was broadcast, that should have nudity cut. I dunno how easy it would be to find them since everything's on DVD now. But there's, what, two episodes with any nudity? It wouldn't be a lot of work.

If fame is really an issue I'm sure they'd disguise themselves.

When I was younger, I remember my mom listening to a book on tape about a food critic who had to disguise herself. She had to keep on changing her disguises because people kept on seeing her behind her disguises.

Then a husky-voiced friend of hers told her "you must become ... Edna!" (Edna is the food critic's mother who had died)

The food critic then started disguising herself as her mother and that really worked out for her, I remember.
