Spring is finally here. Nothing beats this. Went for a walk in the forest this evening in 12 C listening to live symphony from all the birds. Did I mention that nothing beats this?

The weather's actually not bad now, little on the chilly side, but quite overall pleasant. Of course, I won't be experiencing it, for the exact reason you identify....

Snowing like mad right now.
It's snowing again. I keep reminding myself that this is a good thing because the forest fire/grass fire season has already started.

That sounds amazing!
The thermometer has been stuck right at 70F / 21C for the last two weeks with full sun.
Today we're going to go see the biggest stand of redwood treas in Southern California to take advantage of the weather. Allegedly the trail to the trees is flat enough for a stroller but we'll see.

It was stroller friendly! The trees in the grove were pretty small for redwoods as the climate here is too dry and sunny for them. That said, they were still easily the biggest trees in the whole forest. The rest of the park was quite beautiful and we walked around a lake in the shade of trees. I was wrong about the weather, today it peaked at 90F / 32C - though in the shade with the stiff breeze it wasn't bad.That sounds amazing!

Our current typhoon is east of Luzon, heading north, getting ready to turn right. It effect should be getting less, but the winds here today are pretty brutal.

The further away that stupid typhoon gets, the more brutal the winds here become. Our winds have been constant for more than a day...and nasty too.

Extremely windy. And everything covered by a thin layer of some yellow stuff, which at first i thought was dust, but it is nothing but pine pollen. Fortunately i am not allergic.

Woke up this morning to find that it is snowing.
Depending on the area affected, this may be good news for the people fighting the wildfire north of here.
Sunny and in the 80s today with a nice breeze. Our trees are leafing out and now providing shade. It almost rained yesterday, but didn't.
