Oh, the weather outside is...

This area gets typically 1.5 inches of snow in April. Some places just got 10 inches in one day. So 19 inches this month, breaking the April record by 2 inches.
But, it's warming up, so it will be all gone by the weekend.

Moderator Action: Just a note. This is not a thread to discuss climate change, global warming, or politics of any sort. It's meant to be a light thread about weather. If you want to talk politics, or climate change, etc. by all means do. But do it in another thread, please.

warm (low 70's) and sunny! :)
It would appear that we've missed spring out altogether and gone direct to summer.
(insert Monty Python and Holy Grail sketch here!)

They call that weather April where I live. I don't think I'd be happy in a place where low 70s counts as summer weather. But I'm glad you're getting in on some warmth (unless you'd rather it be cooler).

Frigging 28°C yesterday, it's going to be 30°C this week-end.
[CENSORED] THIS [CENSORED] HEAT !:mad::mad:

We're barely in APRIL and it's already summer temperature. Leave me alone !
And I'm already going to have to endure all the [censored] who eat on their balcony and speak and laugh loudly until late in the night. I hate warm weather.

Yeah, I'm mad. I hate heat. I hate noise. In fact, "heat" is just "hate" with the e moved two places backward. Not a coincidence.
That's the time where I really want to use a strong expletive just to throw all my disgust and hate and contempt and anger at the world.

I think that super-20 temperatures are not very fun, but we're over halfway through April now. It's not even getting dark until after 8 pm in the UK at this time of year.

I hear Canada is lovely this time of year... and cold. New England's not to shabby in that regard either... its currently 1°C. (that's 34 degrees in Murican temperature).

So it reached 73F (23C) here yesterday, and 84F (29C) down in London - the joys of living in Northern England!
However, all of it is better than the low 40's we're struggling to make just over a week ago.
After a long , (relatively) cold winter it's nice to see some sun!

Another day, and another morning waking up to appreciable amount of snowfall:

Currently we are on pace to set the record for the coldest average April temperature.

Do you genuinely still use Fahrenheit, Morty? I thought only my parents' vintage and older still did that.

It is windy and unpleasant here today but temperatures are on the rise. Atter so much rain it is all green with lagoons full, birds, flowers and all that crap. Not a good year for allergic people i guess. Flamingos are still around which is not usual for this time of the year:

It's -7C here right now. I have to leave in an hour or so (errands). There are still piles of snow around, although the streets and sidewalks look clear.

It'll warm up by afternoon, though. It's supposed to get up to 9C.

Yeah, well, if you could send it my way, I would appreciate it.
I'm already being more snappy and angry and irritable due to the heat. I'd welcome some GOOD OLD COLD.

20C (don't know what that is in old fashioned) here in Devon and not a cloud in the sky.

20 C is 68 F, according to F = (C x 9/5) + 32.

I'm sooooo over winter at this point. I'll take some sun with a side of heat, hold the rain, thanks.:)

It was a nice day today, not cold at all, although I guess people who aren't used to single Celsius digits might find it chilly.

There's still a lot of snow around in the shady areas, though, and some patches of ice and snow on the river.
