Where were all these St Louis posters when I lived there? (other than @Phrossack)

I thought you were in KC?-6F here in the St. Louis area, wind chill of -17F. toes went numb taking trash out. I can't believe trash is still running.
Sounds nice and balmy.I'm in DC, it's 12 degrees but feels like -1. That's -11 and -17 Celsius. I realize this is nowhere near as cold as in the Midwest but for the relatively mild DC it is quite something. New Jersey didn't get this cold very often either.

It is pretty cold. My gloves don't do much.
Washington?I'm about a hour west of St. Louis proper.
Washington?
I just passed through there a few months ago by canoe. Seemed like a nice place but I wasn't there longYea actually.

Sadly, that's Missouruh for you. I do get the distinct sense that I'm in a foreign country when in that state. Its quaint German Catholic town in MO wine country. It has its redeeming qualities but its very republican and intensely ironic considering all the government spending that gets done here. We just got a new bridge for the Missouri river, lovely bridge, 80% covered by the evil fed. Don't get me started about all the TIF funded crap around here either.

It's the state next to Warshington and Mississippuh. I dare not travel there save for river trips.obligatory at the mention of Missourah
I just had a peek at my own Weather Network. It's -2C (with wind chill) and is forecast to be above 0C tomorrow afternoon.
Looks like this region isn't being subjected to the polar vortex, although I understand things are pretty miserable from Saskatchewan on east.
I couldn't help myself very sorrymight get up to three inches. Two so far. My wife is hoping for five to six.
It's translated exactly as I wrote it. From Saskatchewan on east, the polar vortex is making temperatures plummet to as low as -60C (a temperature I last experienced in the '90s and never want to experience again as it's 30 degrees colder than the temperature in which I only go out if it's an emergency). Is it just me, or could this be translated as "colder than a welldigger's arse, but no polar vortex it's always like this"?
