Oh, the weather outside is...

Yay! I mean, you lose the reason to gorge on all the food in the fridge, but yeah, still way better!

First frost of the season.
Windscreen is lightly frozen over.

Snow. Enough for a real coating this time. Fair enough I guess.

Gray fall day. Can't wait to go on a nice hike after work.

The temperature has been very mild which has been nice as I've spent the last few days moving between apartments. On Friday I spent from 930am to 730pm making trips back and forth shuttling stuff I didn't want the movers to touch and I couldn't have asked for nicer weather to do it in.

We had a windstorm today that blew a truck over on the highway north of here. Actually, it's still going on. The Weather Network says snow this weekend, but so far we've just had a little rain.

A glorious 21C and sunny in Syracuse NY right now. Here's a pic from one of the ski resorts in the area:

The wind chill right now is -21C, we're having a snowstorm, and I'm sitting here with 3 layers of clothes and am freezing.

Time for another chat with the building manager. :trouble:

Sunny, windy and cold this afternoon. We had a rain storm blow though the neighborhood this morning that dropped 0.01" of rain.

We had super sunny warm weather (and a "golden autumn") for a couple of days but it suddenly changed (from sunday to monday) into a windy cold weather - it is still partially sunny though.

We call that "an Indian summer" in the UK, but we had the same thing here. Sunday was warm and sunny, but abruptly became cold and dark by 5.30 or 6 pm, and today was miserably chilly.

It's also called an Indian summer in the US. But I live far enough south in the country that we can get warm weather any time of year, so Indian summer is a less common term down here. However, today and the next two days are forecast to be much colder than normal here, with highs around 7C/44F and lows around freezing. Additionally, it's supposed to be overcast and drizzly. The average high/low for this time of year is around 20.5C/8.5C (69F/47F).

It is the first time I hear the term "Indian Summer" , a living proof I can learn something new everyday :) Thanks guys

Frosty in Glasgow since the weekend.
Went to take trash out, and felt like a million needles of ice.

Proper winter here now. Kinda unusual for october. Let's see how long it holds.

The forecast is for a hard freeze Thursday night. I hope we actually get one, as it has been a bad allergy season for my family.
Temperatures have been nice lately - highs around 20C, but its been a bit rainy so we haven't gotten outside as much as I'd like.

The Santa Anna winds have been really strong lately which sucks for the fires which keeps breaking out but is great for keeping my apartment nice and aerated.
