Due to lack of attendance to the votings in the 11th Islamic summit, Secretary General counts denominator for the 2/3 or 1/2 majorities in the votings over the number of votes, rather than number of members. All items with total vote count less than 3 automatically assumed to have failed. Here are the items that passed with this count.
ooc: I know this is not the ideal way of handling things, but we keep losing PCs, and there are several member PCs who never bothered to reply. I mean only Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan and Iran remain from among the members that actually say anything here. If you disagree with this way of handling it, please speak, and we shall find a remedy. I'll wait for such objections for a couple of days before posting outside OIC thread.
11th Islamic Summit said:1. Observers have the right to speak in matters regarding Muslims.
2. India and Union of Ghana-Togo are granted observer status, whereas EU is not.
3. Islamic Summits will be held at regular intervals of 3 years. The next summit will be in 2011.
4. OIC acknowledges Denmark's constructive efforts following the caricature dispute. OIC believes the rest of the world has realized the sensitivity of muslims regarding the issue, and that the rest of the world will be more considerate of muslim feelings in the future.
5. "Work to minimize illiteracy and ignorance" will be added to OIC's organizational aims as item 3c.
