On Duterte

Its quite rational. If we christians hit too hard we have somewhere to go that's back up there. Otherwise, well, just keep goin down. :dunno:

However I have a plan should I get tossed out a chopper, no worries.

Glad someone finds something funny around here.
Dude bro, you started this thread with admiration for a mass killing psycho you can't expect us to be jolly and cheerful.

I'm not a math whiz. A bullet seems more efficient certainly. Less cruel.
I mean, it's literally "1=1". If you're struggling with that, you should mebbe be leaving the moral calculus to somebody else.

No Traitorfish, don't you see? Duterte's got accountants for that.

Why "Papal", specifically, as opposed to simply episcopal?
Episcopal generally means Anglican doesn't it? They do not have a problem with johnnies, that is a catholic thing.

You're thinking of "Episcopalian". Episcopal just means "bishops", and it's generally the local hierarchy who are directly involved in pushing for conservative social policy, rather than the Papacy itself, which is usually too busy for that kind of hand-on lobbying. Outside of boggle-eyed Orange conspiracy theories, the pope is more of a senior administrative figure than some global puppet-master.

Excellent. It is nice to see a nationalist standing up to Papal inteference in secular matters.

Urh welcome to every single first world country ?
This idea is not bad, its just that when its tried in third world countries tends to not work. In India for example the free condoms appropriated for construction materials instead.

Jesus said dont resist evil doers

Can't people grasp a little different meaning to it, than "let people do what they want to you"? I mean, if it's so meaningless to you that you're not interested in the underlying message, how about if you just leave it alone?

Thing is, wasn't there a bit in the Bible where a bunch of guys arrest Jesus, and they nail Jesus to a cross, and he dies gruesomely, without raising a word of objection?

S'been a while since Catholic school, I'm a little foggy on the specifics.
