One-City-Challenge in DOC

Right now, I'm trying to do one-city-challenges in DOC, and I know of a few builds, such as the Kition or Anuradhapura + Great Cothon, but do you guys know of any other good builds for OCC?

Great Library, San Marco, Space Elevator if you can get the tech before you build space parts,
Blue Mosque (if you haven't built the Globe yet), National Epic, CERN.

Are you going for a "realistisc" approach, or anything goes? I mean.. Are you fine with being gamey? If yes, starting as Greece and picking a nice spot - whatever you want, as it cant flip - would probably be the way to go. London, Lisboa, Amiens (1NE of Paris) is awesome too,

Constantinople, 1N/2N (might get disbanded at Dutch spawn, IDK) of Paris, anything near Rome, Chinese cities.
Civs: preferably Western Europeans like Vikings, France, England.

Another one that I am working on is as the Maya, except in the Aztec spawn spot. I would love to do one in Florence, but I can't destroy Melpum fast enough as the Romans, and if I switch over to the Romans from another civ, they've already built Rome. How can I fix this?

Just start as Greece? You can't lose your capital to a flip, if it's your only city?

Which UHVs are winnable as an OCC? Babylon obviously... any others?

Germany, England, Spain, Rome...

In theory, you can complete Babylon, Egypt, Ethiopia, Maya, Indonesia, Mandinka, Inca, Thai and Congo as UHV. At least, there's nothing outright preventing the completion of these in their UHV as an OCC.

Not that you'll have fun doing all of those, and some of them are only theoretically possible (somehow trading yourself to ten happiness resources as Indonesia seems highly implausible with only 1 city).

I know someone has done Ethiopia.

Good luck with Indonesia's population goals though. Although yes, it's possible if you raze half of the world, I guess Even France is possible, and depending on whether city conquering and immediately razing counts for the Dutch UHV and whether vassal resources do the Dutch might be possible too. HRE is possible too, I don't know if capitulating counts for the Viking goal but then it might be possible too.

I think it does. But you still have to found a new city in Vinland, so unless your first city is somehow in Vinland, it's not possible.

I prefer just 1N of the starting spot, if only to work as a canal so I can attack both China and Japan with greater ease.
