Americans despise the French ? fine I've got it.

I don't despise the French.

Just the communist ones. ;)

Considering it's selling at #5, I would say either A) He wrote a good book or B) Both adults and kids are gullible. Take your pic, based upon how cynical you are. :p

Can I combine the two and just say that he wrote a fine piece of propoganda? :)

You can if you want to, it's a free country, but I really wouldn't. ;)

Upon further reflection I'm going to have to say O'Reilly lost. He didn't get to really promote his book, which from everyone I know that's actually read it, both liberal and conservative, all have praised it as a very good book every kid should have.

Masquerouge. Anyway, let's eat some stuff together I'm hungry. We could talk about other stuff which are simply in my imagination together. What about going to Subway ? I've heard they had a new tasty sandwich. Hey ! Here's the ad !

Now that's just funny! Wrong, but funny!

I have been to Subway quite a few times and it's not there anymore.
Ah ok I'm sorry. As it's not there anymore it means that Americans don't despise French anymore. It was just for the time of the ad.

And anyway I think Quizno's better.
Ah if Quizno's better... I'm even more sorry

Maybe it was the Subway in Washington, D.C. ? You know, just like French Media got outraged because French Fries were renamed Freedom Fries, omitting to say it was for the Congress Cafeteria only ?
Yeah ! The fact it came from the Cafeteria of the Congress, one of the most important US official institutions, is even less worrying. ok I'm sorry then !

Let's read the press to change the topic. I'll go for the NY Times. Since everyone consider it as a liberal newspaper, it couldn't be anti-French.

Alright to start it well and make things clearer, there's no French race.

What about the Tour de France? ;) :p

The Tour de France is international. It's been something like 50 years no French dude won that one. :p

EDIT : Argh ! Elrohir has been faster. ;)

Bill calls people pinheads all the time, like people who send in email and other people. It's not about not taking a joke.

Maybe you're right, and he's just constantly an insulting bully. In which case I guess Stewart shouldn't take it personally?

I think it would have been pretty funny if they just cut off O'Reilly every time he opened his mouth during the interview. Give him a taste of his own medicine.

Elrohir is always faster. He is Elrohir. Elrohir is so great Elrohir speaks in the third person. ;)

Oh come on, no one takes being called a 'pinhead' personally. It's like his trademark, if you don't want to get called it don't go on TV with him. (Or don't disagree with him on TV :p )

Won what exactly? Was there a debate on there I missed?

" france is marcy" lol:lol: i dont hate the french, but its funny topoke fun of them, they are like the kid who thinks hes cool, but really isnt.

plus nobody "wins" cuz it wasnt even a debate, it was more like a joking conversation two guys in a bar would have.

You have to admit, Jon Stewart can be an insulting bully as well. He has a habit of dismissing a guest's point by causing overwhelming laughter or sweeping the whole thing under the rug - and let's not forget what he called Tucker Carlson.

Jon Stewart is a comedian. I don't know why anyone takes the "Daily Show" seriously. The last person to be funny doing a "news show" was Kevin Nealon and before him, Dennis Miller.

Because there's a lot of truth in many of the things that are on that show. It's kind of a sad indication of the state of the media these days when it's up to a comedy show to be the most honest when reporting the news.
