He's alive and kicking:wallbash: But we'll get him, just like the Germans will get Russia!!!! :sheep: :whipped: They will be my servants.

No seriously, what’s up with you and the Russians, West German?
It’s winter now, and you know what happens to enemy armies campaigning in Russia during the winter…

He's alive.. but he wont be as soon as I find him : points too a 50 Megaton nuke with Osamas name on it:

i think hes alive but lying low but who cares according to the american installed government in afghanistan al gadea are not a political or militry threat anymore so even if his alive or dead what is the difference. i believe that he will try to co ordinate more attcks on the U.S.A and possibly this time the U.K as we helped america :(

I think Al ‘Gayda’ is still a threat, and now they’re spread across the globe.
But jolly old Taliban has ceased to be a real threat. At least we’re rid of them.

jolly old taliban i am not going to go into the taliban again they did some good for afghanistan in particular stopped farmers from growing opium and one question how was the taliban any threat to us they supported terrorism so have amny other more stronger countries the taliban had a very very weak airforce and no WMD how where they a threat to us?

Maybe it was their terrorism against the Afghan people that made me dislike them (Burka’s aren’t that cool). And they did not stop the growth of Opium; they used the profits to purchase weapons.
Most of them weren’t even Afghans, they were Pakistani.

Edit: Uh, found a fact: "Afghanistan, under Taliban rule, was the world's leading producer of opium in 2000, controlling more than two-thirds of the market. Most of that opium and the heroin derived from it were sold in Europe and Asia."

Most of them are Afghans. Pashtuns in fact but 'educated' in the madrasahs in Pakistan. 'Cause of the earlier Soviet invasion, millions of Afgahns were refugees in Pakistan. It was amongst this population that the Taliban movement sprang forth.

Also many Pakistanis fr along the border. Actually peoples fr both sides of the border are closely related; not much of a point whether they're Pakistani or Afghan.

No. The Taliban cracked down heavily on opium growing. With the resulting end that heroin and other drug production shot up elsewhere in the world, particularly in the Golden Triangle in Myanmar. In fact, the Americans were even subsidising the Taliban in cracking down on drugs IIRC before 911.

i was wrong but if it was a muslim fundamintlest regime this goes totally against their beliefes. anyway u think there northern alliance is better i love the way we romantice are allies so readily. we have just replaced the taliban with another regime. So what the taliban was pakistani that makes a difference hmmmm where else have outsiders come in and ruled a country no where of course. But it was mainly pashtun right which are a majorty in the country so we have replaced that with a regime now controlled mostly by Tajiks.

Sorry I meant they came into the country from Pakistan, forgot they ware called Pashtuni. On the opium issue we still disagree.

Edit: Dear Ancient Grudge  . I have no love for the Northern Alliance or any of the bickering warlords. Afghanistan needs a democracy not warlord factions and tribal states, and if IFOR (or whatever) can help them in achieving that goal, then I’m all for it.

my thoughts are at the start of the taliban regime they where still growing opium and where the highest producers but around march they began to crack down on its growth and now we have spoiled this :( more opium for the streets and schools of europe :(
