I agree with ya on that especially that when they have gone political which is not "deeply intellectual" since all it is simply a bunch of sloganeering and catch-phrases that appeal to mass ignorances.I second Green Day. They make one "political" album and everybody thinks they're deep genuises. People forget they made a name for themselves doing 3 chord songs about stuff boogers and masturbation.

People call them progressive rock because of it.
OK Computer was voted the greatest album of all time.Radiohead
I don't know. They were called progressive rock because it's a concept album.Wouldn't that make them more Punk, by definiton?
Aerosmith better than Pink Floyd. That's hilarious. Deep Purple is great though.Right, as for my overrated band, I'm defintely putting Pink Floyd up there. They give me a headache. I'm never going to be "trippin" so I'll never be able to enjoy any of their music. There's much better bands from that era, and much better music. Perhaps they've been deified to be in contrast to Aersomith or Deep Purple, but I certainly don't think they earned it on their own.
[in a deep sonorous voice]I am too sexy to agree with you and I am not a model,if you know what I mean.Right Said Fred.
Oasis. There is not even competion there.
Phlegmak said:Rage Against the Machine SUCKS. Not only that, but they're procommunist, proterrorist. They can go to hell. They actually called Shining Path, a terrorist, communist group in Peru a "people's movement" or some crap like that. It's in their video for Bombtrack. Shining Path are murderers. (Note for those who can't understand the obvious: I'm not praising the former Peruvian government of Fujimori.)
I don't care that much about their opinions about some groups, I like their music! You should too.![]()
