I agree with ya on that especially that when they have gone political which is not "deeply intellectual" since all it is simply a bunch of sloganeering and catch-phrases that appeal to mass ignorances.

Right, as for my overrated band, I'm defintely putting Pink Floyd up there. They give me a headache. I'm never going to be "trippin" so I'll never be able to enjoy any of their music. There's much better bands from that era, and much better music. Perhaps they've been deified to be in contrast to Aersomith or Deep Purple, but I certainly don't think they earned it on their own.
Rage Against the Machine SUCKS. Not only that, but they're procommunist, proterrorist. They can go to hell. They actually called Shining Path, a terrorist, communist group in Peru a "people's movement" or some crap like that. It's in their video for Bombtrack. Shining Path are murderers. (Note for those who can't understand the obvious: I'm not praising the former Peruvian government of Fujimori.)

U2 is boring crap. Pink Floyd, never understood the hype, sounds rather boring to me. Greenday, while an okay band, are over-rated, same with My Chemical Romance. Nickleback is over-rated as well. Anyone who doesnt rate them as complete and utter crap is overrating them. Jet's first album was a little over-rated, leading to the massive disappointment with their 2nd album.
Drive Shaft. I was glad when I found out their bass player disappeared in a plane crash.

Many of my friends used to listen it and tell me how great it is. I newer understood why. Boring band lead by ***hole, as opposed to many great bands lead by ***hole .

My wife is from Peru. I've been to Peru myself three times. It's my second home. Imagine some band is making songs about praising murderers of people you care about. There's no way I should like their music.

You're damn right Aerosmith is better than Pink Floyd! Pink Floyd is music for people who want to act like they're quasi-enlightened because people think their albums are "dude, like so..deeep." I maintain that Pink Floyd is utter crap. Aerosmith is infinitely better.
