It this going be like a DoTA/LoL game where everyone in-game is both an RTS commander and a FPSer?
Or will it have a strict division between RTS and FPS aspects? It seems like most attempts at RTS/FPS hybrids have been failures
(Empires mod for HL2 is the only one I'd describe as a success).

I think the War-of-the-Rose game will be decent, though it's by the Lead and Gold developer (ok game, not worth $20 imho) and I can't see if it's done by the Mount and Blade team at all. The features sound great (typical RPG leveling through unlocks, SP story campaign, and PvP matches). I predict this will be full of win and make Paradox rich.

So I have Hearts of Iron II Doomsday with Armageddon. Would you guys recommend getting something like Darkest Hour or Arsenal of Democracy, getting HoI3 + expansions, or just sticking with what I have now?
Both DH and Arsenal are essentially Hearts of Iron II mods with extras and a better map; they're nice, but you might want to get them when they're cheap.
I'd wait on HoI3 until they bring out a "Complete" edition.

There is no point in preordering a Paradox Game. Being disappointed a bit early is never a good thing.

Is 1.26 the latest version?
If yes, is it well balanced and fairly complete?
Is there any way to play the game as HttT if I have EU3 Chronicles?
CK II is going to shock people how ready it is for release.There is no point in preordering a Paradox Game. Being disappointed a bit early is never a good thing.
