So it turns out the reason for the delay is because they are fixing a couple other bugs! Which would you want to have, people, a buggy patch or a patch that works well?!

Bugs are difficult to identify, and even more difficult to eliminate. I'll wait a week longer though in order to have more bugs that have been identified, fixed.

The patch has supposedly been finished for over a week, yet it hasn't been released. Which implies that the bugtesting was already done and all was required was for Take2 to release the patch.

No it doesn't. When a developer finishes the patch, it is submitted to the publisher for QA (Quality Assurance) testing. Obviously, take2 found something that was wrong.

In the civilopedia, it says that parent civs have direct access to ALL of a colonies resources. Did this happen in the actual game? I found myself trading for resources with my colonies. Is this a bug and will it be fixed, anyone??

Testing = Not Finished. Patch was said to be finished. So either alexman lied, or take2 are ********.

AMEN!! Speaking of which, I'm interested in the paratroopers getting 25% evasion chance.

I'd like to hear how people have been using them. They can only paradrop from cities, right? And also...how does interception currently work? Planes, mech inf, aa, can shoot them down? Or just wound them before they land?
Actually, they can paradrop from forts, too.

Thing is, I still find that way too limiting. With lots of culture going on both sides, I can drop my paratroopers in and they're still a bajillion tiles away from anything worth plundering. :( Maybe if you could take over enemy forts and use those to paradrop... not sure if you can do that now, never had a chance to try.

I'm THAT close to make a bot that spams this site with 1 new user per who, who each replies in here: When is it going to be out?

Come on, release the patch! xD

....<Snip>....

Well, you can be nice and trade them, but you can also demand them.

In your negotiations with your vassal, choose their resources you want, then pick the option that says (something like) "time for your tribute, refusal means war"

They'll almost always give them to you, and if they don't, the vassalage will be terminated and they'll be at war with you.

No. Finished = they have added in all the features and such. It can mean multiple different things

You are aware, are you not, that Firaxis is owned by Take2?

yes.

So let me get this straight... If you "finish" a project and hand it off to your boss, and he comes back later and wants you to make a few changes to it, that means that you were lying when you said you were "finished" the first time?

Bh

Either you were lying, or the boss was too ******** to tell you how it should be done the first time.
