Let us all keep in mind that Coke and Pepsi both taste different from country to country. Lord knows the Pepsi in Mexico ...... ugh :twitch:

Coke is better.

It's not a "bourbon and pepsi", is it?

It has little to do with the taste though.

Coke has less gas, thus giving it a "heavy" taste.

*Heavy alcohol taste better with a heavy drink.

Light alcohol taste better with a light drink like Pepsi.

* I am not talking about the alcoholic content, I am talking about how thick it is and how dark it is. I've heard bartenders use different definitions for heavy and light liquor, but that is generally what they use out here.

Bologna you don't.

Ordering a Pepsi with Vodka is more common than Coke with Vodka. Around here any way.

I tried to find a old thread I started about what is the most popular kind of hard liquor where everyone lives.

Titled something like "bring bottles" or something to that end, I couldn't find it :(

In any case - Here in Vegas Vodka and Rum are by far the most popular types of liquor, I am guessing 80% of liquor sales are from Rum and Vodka alone.

Coke, but I don't mind Pepsi.

Coke > Pepsi.

But anyway, most people can't tell the difference.

Vanilla Coke > Black Cherry Vanilla Coke > Cherry Coke > Classic Coke >>>>>>>>>>> Pepsi > Flavored forms of Pepsi >>>>>>>>>>> Diet and decaffeinated Coke > Diet and decaffeinated Pepsi

 Coke

What he said.

7 Up> All :p

That's irrelevant to my point. You never hear "x and pepsi", it's always "x and coke". Regardless of what x is.

Coke wins.

utter . .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. never ever have i seen anyone voluntarily ordering a cuba libre with coca cola.

rum + cola = pepsi + brown rum

cuba libre is the magic term. and as that it only gains its extraordinary taste from the above mentioned combination :)

Here if you order a drink it is Coke or Cola, no matter whether you say it is Pepsi or anything else. Probably because most places only offer one, so it doesn't matter.

I prefer the taste of Coke.

Pepsi is ridiculous, utterly ridiculous. :ack:

Plain Coke tastes better than plain Pepsi. I think it's because it's not quite as sweet. I love my Mountain Dew though, so I probably bring in more money for Pepsi :).
