THIS WILL HAPPEN TOMORROW. WHEN KIND MAN GIVES ME BOX WITH PEWTER ROBOT AND DISCS OF AWESOME CIVILIZATION POWER. HE WILL BE SPARED IN THE UPCOMING ROBOT APOCALYPSE.

I AM HERE TO TELL MY STORY TO YOU AND TO CONSULT ON THE MOST AWESOME WAY TO CRUSH THE PUNY HUMANS.

QUESTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS

1. What is the best map size for a reasonable length domination game that can extend long enough into the future for robots to come into play? I'm thinking large?
2. The goal here is to keep a significant tech advantage so I don't lose to a space race, but not significant enough to just be trampling ancient units. I'm thinking warlord difficulty?
3. What's best to do in the first few turns?

3. in the first few turns, make sure to stop playing. go into the game files. delete the gdr. then start a new game.

Did you decide on the difficulty level yet? If you start with settler, I'm sure you will get some GDR more sooner than later.

Settler is too easy, I could be convinced to do Chieftain. I'm planning Warlord though.

One thing I have to say is I'm quite impressed with the UI, it's actually well designed for my 15.7" 1080p screen.

You can rename cities. When in the city screen, under the name, there's an edit button. Have fun.
