I shall totally ignore the next objective as there´s no point in trying to achieve it and ignoring it will put us in a stronger position to survive the next punishment.

Explored west to discover Washington has quite a chunk of land, explored north and met Peter, explored south east and starting to discover a small tundra peninsula that might have room for a couple of cities.

Researched compass, nearly finished CS. We are indeed fairly backwards techwise, small in size and power and altogether not in shape to go to war with one AI let alone three.

Starting to get a few units together to eliminate barb city in south east, we´ll need a settler in due course. Theres a barb galley´chasing Washington´s WB through the middle of our territory, we have a trireme close at hand.

re: finishing early ~ part of me says that that's just teh RNGod showing his (dis)favor by gifting us a tech to complete his mission. the other part says that this game is in the toilet somewhat, and maybe a reward from His RuffHi-ness might work out. i don't know ~ any thoughts from the peanut gallery?

As the herald of His Ever Changing-ness, I would caution against blatant spiking of your Master with name calling and open disregard for his directions.

That said, I will see what He says later today once I consult the latest lotto results. He did reward the Giants last Sunday so there is no reason to suspect that he won't be generous.

Hold the game until I get a chance to look at it.

hey alll ~ sorry about the delay ~ RL had a way of sneaking up on me and slamming me face-first to the ground. I can play this today and report by the evening and hopefully get the game moving again.

Running short on time today so it's gonna be a short and sweet report:

played 10 turns.

My personal obj was to spread religion so I sent Taoism, er, Randomism to one of our new continental cities.

The AP was built under confuciansim, and the world declared on JC ~ ok, well, two people did but still...

civil service came in. in researched machinery (which finished) and now we're started on guilds. I revolted to OR and Bur for no turns.

I have our modern armor ready to launch an attack on the khmer, while our panzer can go into arabia. I also thought we could load it onto the galley waiting there and ship it west to take one more city from another civ. however, we'll need to make that happen fairly quickly as we've got 17 turns until the objective is up.

I assume that we have not captured any city from the objective yet, right?

To avoid Ran Dumb´s spite do we have to keep the cities or can we simply capture and raze or capture and return the city in a peace treaty (unless its one we want to keep).
