I looked at it as a mixed bag, in that particular operation the militia happened to be human, the ET APC operators were Tourliski. What other times did I make your army out as human-dominant? If you want me to have your army exclusively of one race then I'll be glad to take that into note for future updates, I just didn't know.

Well, if you did have any human troops, I assumed they would be militias. I wouldn't describe any of your soldier units as human unless I had some orders where that would make sense (upgraded some militia you explicitly describe as human in a story or something).
Well, I thought that the militia was originally Tourliski, as they were the crashed Tourliski escape pods that landed in Taldykorgan.
I've only picked up this impression because my last two semi-secretive missions were described as both being done by Human 'slaves'.

well, those were civilians, and that one was a covert mission. The covert nature of that operation kind of made the use of Humans make more sense.
Sending armed troops to a location is not secret at all. The use of humans just made it mildly more "mysterious" which is why I used humans. You are right about the story thing though, I lost track of that, that contributed heavily. Sorry. No Time Machine here though.
From now on if you pull off successful espionage (stealing equipment, or cyberattacks, that sort of stuff) the results will be Private Messaged to you. This was a mistake I learned from last turn, this turn nobody really did anything "covertly." And failed attempts will still show up in the update.
(Like anything else in this game, this will be more successful if you support these attempts with more computers and enough manpower)

[Rafiki Files Database: History of the attempts in, and Warnings against, Re-educating Humans. Last Updated: October 3rd 2013]

According to the preliminary intelligence about Earth it was clear to the Rafiki that these were ruthless warriors, who fought massive wars for the slightest of reasons only to then install precarious political structures to ensure future conflict. It didn’t make a lot of sense, in most species either questions of political authority had never come up, or they had been answered decisively by a permanent, widely agreed upon, hegemony (although exceptions include The Succubi and the so called Neter ‘Federation’
. This gave us our basis of understanding the humans in the context of their martial role, based off of experiences with those two species.
It was clear from the start that humans were significantly too small and weak to serve as effective ground troops but because of their long history of armed conflict it was initially hoped that the humans would be able to lend a certain tactical perspective to the Command Structure.
This was the philosophy behind the first two re-education camps, both Tyzdron and Galtok were designed to push the human mind to its limits, to see how much ingenuity we could coax out of the average human if we put them in command of simulated combat situations.
The results were mixed. On the one hand, after a few courses of Mind Control Rays, after the subjects understood what they were being asked to do and were co-operative and had essentially undergone a basic reprogramming, they excelled at commanding combat situations and coordinating forces. They were extremely good at grasping unquantifiable variables and adapting to them.
The process also had other, unsettling, affects on these humans though.
We have all heard of Patient 96573, I am not here to say he is a real person. I have heard the arguments of those who insist that Patient 96573 is some sort of wild ploy of human propaganda. It puts us in a troubling position though in any event, if this ‘Patient 96573’ does not have the power to disrupt and hijack our networks so easily, then the sheer technical acumen of the human race is what is really causing these problems. No matter whom you blame for the deactivation of security protocols in Re-education camps, the termination of life support in orbiting ships, inexplicable engine failures one after the next, the truth is that defenses must be mounted, rather than scapegoats found.
And there is no small coincidence, we admit, behind the timing of the fall of Tyzdron and the beginning of these strange attacks, but that does not mean that there is really some human out there picking up our transmissions in his head and accessing our entire network. The thought is prima facie ridiculous.
The problem of insanity was extremely prevalent in human subjects though, as treatment continued. Their actions in the combat simulations became more and more aggressive and disjointed. It was not that one could not talk to them, they could speak with words and most of them had mastered Rafiki with a subtlety that was disturbing, but they were never forming coherent sentences, unless they were speaking to inanimate objects, with which they had frequent loud conversations.
And they did become violent. Long before the fall of Tyzdron it had been decided to shift the Re-education program towards Piloting. Piloting, many have joked recently, is the traditional place where races who were too useful to exterminate and too dangerous to trust had been stuck. Piloting camps, like Yplheim, Tourka, and Dabaae had already been built by mid January, nearly in the final days of the Invasion.
We all know the fate of Tyzdron, overthrown by some Human Liberation milita on January 8th, allegedly because “one of the inmates sent radio signals to them while he slept”[!]. We also remember the Great Retreat that left us behind and left the commanders of Tourka, Yplheim, and Dabaae defenseless against inexplicable electronic attacks.
But Galtok has maintained radio silence since before the Invasion was over. Satellite photos show that the base is still defended, that people do live there, but it also shows extraordinary amounts of interference, probably the result of an extremely overcharged series of Mind Control Rays. It might not be safe to actually approach the site, there are no reports coming out of it.
There are still computers working there, although it would take a considerable computing force to crack into the database there and it has not yet been achieved.

Re-Education Base Galtok is no longer so well hidden. It can be found near Lagos, Nigeria. 1 of any army attacking one of your cities will be subject to Mind Control Rays (Jets, ET Fighters, Rockets, and Soldiers with Tinfoil Helmets are still immune to this Wonder). This Wonder cannot be controlled well enough to be used offensively. It will Mind Control 1 troop of any army sent to claim it. It can be reprogrammed.

Hey,
Jet sank down into the hot springs water so that only his eyes showed between the surface & the cool cloth on top of his head. It had been a long 2 months. Project 03 had been a failure. They had made it perfectly to there destination & had secured the plant. He moved forward deeper into the steam, which was thicker now that winter was here. Then they reported being attacked by unknowns. Whoever attacked caused the death of good Yankee Suns soldiers. His eyes slowly searched for his target. He smiled under the water.
The tabloids had him linked to the Empress. Which was a good thing. It would be the foundation of the new Empire. Solid. There was his target in the corner with her eyes just above the water. She hadn't seen him yet & was just now starting to move out into the hot spring. He would move parallel to her & circle back to be behind her. Except the tabloids had it wrong. They had it wrong. Though Asian women were smart, beautiful & all so sexy, Jet had a problem with them. They sounded to him like alley cats screeching during love making. Their screams of passion were just downright "nails on a blackboard".
Jet caught the arc of the grenades as they came over the bamboo wall separating the different sized areas of the hot springs. He closed his eyes , covered his ears with his hands & quickly submerged below the water. It would protect him from the concussion & flash. These were amateurs he thought. Didn't use enough explosives & missed the area were their targets would be. Coming up out of the water Jet saw the assassins. There was 2 of them with knives.
"Grenades & knives." Jet positioned his self between the attackers. The one on the right was faster so he was the first target. The assassin turned to face Jet with murderous intent in his eyes. The only thing showing from his mask. "Thank God, you lived in a freak'n gun controlled country."
Jet stepped into the oncoming fist full of blade. He bent his knees & took the knife over his left shoulder. His left hand grabbing then twisting so the man's arm so that the elbow was pointed upward. He pulled down, dislocating the elbow and exploding the forearm bones from its muscle and flesh coating. Jet's right hand moved quickly taking the knife from the now useless hand. Jet's hand then flashed back to cut the attacker's throat. As the edge bit into the flesh he slightly turned the blade upward which caused it to rip instead of slice. He continued his spin to defend against the attack from the man on his six. He dropped to bring the knife into the mans left inner thigh. Letting go when he felt the blade bit bone, Jet came up with a left elbow to the attacker's jaw. He pitched over backwards, shattered teeth trailing his movement. Jet finished with him by placing the knife through the assassin's heart.
