Something simple to start Python Wonders V, the first new work to enter Gigapack :goodjob:

Military Award

Is the requirement too high?
Because it looks simple for humans, but I seldom see AIs with high lvl units

Artwork from RI mod

@Dumanios
As mentioned, I need Artwork if it is meant to be wonder, as well as pedia entry :D

Kharbas Caves
Pedia

This should be done as it really is an amazing wonder, but is barely known (due to the lack of a wiki page in english ) but havent seen it in a mod and should be out there (added it to mine :D)

it worships the god of water so i owuld do something like a religion bonus for water, as i dont beleive youve done that before. Maybe the religion spreads to all coastal cities. Maybe a promotion given to all water units

EDIT: Also if you are going to do it here is a movie/button so you dont gotta do it yourself as i did it for my mod

@dacubz145
Yeah, saw that long ago, but didn't find its english info so never bother lol
But reading its pedia, it was formed "naturally"
Wouldn't this suit your natural wonders mod better than as a wonder here?

Anyway, @Dumanios
Do you know any site with information of the wonders from Call to Power I and II games, where you get that AI Entity?

So that... ahem I can... ahem "loot" some ideas and wonder names
I managed to find these 2:
CTP 1 Wonders
CTP 2 Wonders
but some wonder info are missing, and... there is no artwork or description :/

They were both manmade and naturemade, but they were definatly manmade

here is a better website
http://www.persiaplanet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&p=94
take a look, expecially at the enterior pictures, and tell me those are nature made

Similar to Mesa Verde or Mt. Rushmore. Its manmade out of a naturemade object

New Naval Units built in All Cities with state religion:

Toss a coin twice
First Head => Sword
Second Head => Shield

Effectively, this means
25% Nothing
25% Sword
25% Shield
25% Both

Can only steal promotions that are valid to the unit type, except for Lead by Warlord :D

Does not need pre-requisite promotions/techs though

Thus, a tank can steal Combat V straight away, but cannot steal Accuracy or ahem Barrage :goodjob:

Edit:
Added Max Start Era for Kharbas Caves

Gigapack Updated

Fixed, it means I am half awake that day :D
Some of the wonders I not sure who made them as well, since they are looted from mods so not sure who made them initially.
You are quite buzy recently making new movies :goodjob:

Thanks, will look for it later when I think of what benefits to do :D

Since Python Projects II so empty...
Magna Carta
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0007-7.jpg

Actually, it was meant to change happiness output for courthouses...
But negative happiness doesn't seem to work, so here comes plan B

Team Project Emancipation
When nobody builds, everyone is neutral
When one idiot starts the ball rolling, everyone else +1 unhappy
When 10 civs build it, and you still have not, you get +10 unhappy
Building it removes all the added unhappiness
So when all build it, everyone back to square one, waste of time :D

Added codes to take note of liberalisation of new civ

Edit:
Project Utopia
Removes the +1 Happy benefit, since it does not include codes for liberalisation of new civ
Rather than add codes for that, I rather remove the benefit since there are now so many wonders/projects that add happiness, this benefit is not needed for the project

In Call to Power, the AI Entity makes it so your empire doesn't have to suffer too much happiness, but with a 3% chance per turn to rebel. Perhaps make it so that it doubles production, science, and commerce in a city, but maintaining the 3% chance to rebel.

Possible civpedia entry(from wikipedia)
Spoiler :
Artificial intelligence (AI) is the intelligence of machines and the branch of computer science that aims to create it. AI textbooks define the field as "the study and design of intelligent agents" where an intelligent agent is a system that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chances of success. John McCarthy, who coined the term in 1956, defines it as "the science and engineering of making intelligent machines."

AI research is highly technical and specialized, deeply divided into subfields that often fail to communicate with each other. Some of the division is due to social and cultural factors: subfields have grown up around particular institutions and the work of individual researchers. AI research is also divided by several technical issues. There are subfields which are focussed on the solution of specific problems, on one of several possible approaches, on the use of widely differing tools and towards the accomplishment of particular applications. The central problems of AI include such traits as reasoning, knowledge, planning, learning, communication, perception and the ability to move and manipulate objects. General intelligence (or "strong AI") is still among the field's long term goals. Currently popular approaches include statistical methods, computational intelligence and traditional symbolic AI. There are enormous number of tools used in AI, including versions of search and mathematical optimization, logic, methods based on probability and economics, and many others.

The field was founded on the claim that a central property of humans, intelligence—the sapience of Homo sapiens—can be so precisely described that it can be simulated by a machine. This raises philosophical issues about the nature of the mind and the ethics of creating artificial beings, issues which have been addressed by myth, fiction and philosophy since antiquity. Artificial intelligence has been the subject of optimism, but has also suffered setbacks and, today, has become an essential part of the technology industry, providing the heavy lifting for many of the most difficult problems in computer science.

Thanks, will do something about it when Artwork is ready :D

Caught Big Bug !!!
PromotionInfos.xml does not work with modules for whatever reason I dunno.
It still adds the new promotions in addition to whatever default promotions you have in your standard mod, but...
The requirements of the new promotions REPLACE the requirements of the standard promotions in the exact position according the file.

Eg, Kharbas Caves add 2 new promotions, everything display well, benefits looks ok etc.
But then pre-requisites of Anahita's Sword will replace pre-requisites of Combat1, doesn't matter since no pre-requisites anyway.
But pre-requisites of Anahita's Shield will then replace pre-requisites of Combat2, making units able to gain Combat2 without Combat1...

Noticed this fat bug when playing around with Gigapack with has 3 added promotions, resulting in Combat2 and Combat3 no pre-requisites.

Conclusion:
PromotionInfos.xml taken out of modules and dumped into XML folder
@dacubz145 all your fault for telling me to make modular :D

Affected:
Kharbas Caves, Megapack, Gigapack
The other standalones are not affected since they only add 1 promotion, which will replace Combat1 pre-requisites, so it isn't a problem anyway

All Packs updated... again

@ Platyping, I would check your codes though, Ive had modular promotions no problems like that. But i have had a problem like that, it is when you have an error in the promotion files, or if you have two promotions named the same thing. that is pretty weird though, do you have a custom units scheme in there? if not I would add that, it might fix it

Also I like the Vijay one, very cool idea:D

Also since your looking for projects, what about pick a famous/big forrest preserve? Either it can plant forest everywere in city radius, or maybe for every forest preserve you have, a forest is planted in a adjacent plot

Try this old Kharbas wonder in modular form and you will see what I mean :D
The 2 new promotions are added in nicely, all the standard BTS promotions still exist as well.
Only problem is Combat2 lost the Combat1 pre-requisite

@Vijay
Vijay is fun, but not that useful in standard BTS
Because AI units are always pretty low lvl, so low promotions, nothing much to steal lol

Also just a random though, have you tried AI autoplay? If you havent i would try it, its a simple modcomp, that i would test your mod in. It autoplays your turns, and if you do it maybe 20 turns at a time, you can tell which wonders/projects AI like to biuld and see if any are not useful enough or way to powerful. Also you can tell if there are any errors a lot easier, just save everytime before you autoplay, and if game crashes, that means there was something wrong, load last game saved and play turn by turn

@dacubz145
Nope, the only thing it can detect for me is python errors.
Whether AIs gonna build them or not, is all determined by this:
Projects, all are set as Internet effects in XML (except for 2), so AI builds them thinking they are Internets, so they cannot see any difference between Magellan's Voyage and SETI, besides the cost and requirements.
Wonders, most of them have only python effects, beside the Great People rate, what determines whether they build them or not is all based on the flavour tags.

Thus, whether they build them or not has nothing to do with the effects themselves, so you cannot tell whether they are OP or used often because AI builds them without knowing what they do.

Initially, set it as World Wonder, adds production and science for whole empire, and chance to sink into anarchy.
Sounds too boring, so adds some robots to spice up the fun

Civ4ScreenShot0010-8.jpg

Now it is a National Wonder that allows you to build this lame robot :D
Of course, the stats have been toned down (model as well).
We can't have a bigger baddie than Modern Armor!

So now, the python side effects you get barbaric robots running around your empire besides the anarchy
Of course, if you have Great Wall, then all you get is the anarchy

Another late game wonder for you to play with

Nanite Defuser
Spoiler :
NaniteDefuser.jpg

Saw this idea before in some mods like AND, but never saw it released on standalone.
Thus, release it here for modders who wanna add to their own mods.
Can't be bothered to download a 1GB mod just to extract one wonder, so made it from scratch and add some stuff to it.

Since AI doesn't understand python, added restrictions to building it.
Mahattan is obvious, the uranium restriction is so that if you have it, chances are you have nukes as well, so nope, you cannot build it.
Just a easier way to check, rather than check number of nukes you have and decide whether you can build it.

However, it is still possible some clowns have an arsenal of 100 ICBM, but lost their only uranium source and go and build this.
So, for every nuke defused, the nuke owner gets gold as compensation.

Artwork by Lord Tirian

Since this isn't my original idea, and I have no idea who made it initially since there isn't a standalone, I placed it under "Others" after GIR and Tsentom1
