He is working on the map and history, he said he was done with Oceania and Asia last night, and that he will probably have the rest done by tonight.

Did he do Europe yet? It is not very important, but I hope he could create a small Russian state/states - it would be useful for me for story reasons, though ofcourse I can always pretend it WAS there but disappeared later.

So here's the map. Capitals with a white outline are player capitals. The map should be done, but may be changed a bit before launch.

I'll get started on the stats tomorrow. I'm shooting for a Tuesday launch.

Hmm... Not bad, though confusing as hell.

Hurry up with the stats!

3 humn civ in Indonesia only?! Wich one is mine? AND WHO CHOOSED COUTNRIES RIGHT NEXT TO ME?! I need to know what humans I play next to ;)

By the way, didn't Erez ask for oversea colonies?

Hmmm? I still don't know wich one I am... the one controlling Singhapor?
I will also assume we start in 1420 or around it cause in 1700 etc... there were already hordes of colonies to the europians... so in this world it should have been other continents instead europians...

Yea, your the one controlling Singapore.

Plexus, I think you got me and Jason confused. You said I had the Persian coastline, but I actually joined in Northern Palestine. If the red empire is where the Seluecids actually should be, then I dont care who i end up as because they both look like very nice countries :D

Whoah... is that little green bit Italy? Who are those others? I gotta fight them fairly quickly- no, wait. Is there any bonus for taking lands?
What's the point of territory?

This is 1600, I think.

@Erez- 1600. The major power base in this game will be the Indian Ocean, rather than Europe. As a main cause for European expansion was due to the spice trade, and most spices came from the Indian Ocean, what motive would nations from the Indian Ocean have for expansion? Anyways, the world developed differently in this world. Rather than one area developing with an extreme technological advantage, the world developed rather uniform.

@Azale- The original Seleucid capital was 35 mi NE of Babylon along the Tigris. This way, there is less conflict over the SL.

@Erik- You picked a RL major power, I warned against that. ;) Nothing wrong with a bit of competition.

@conehead- That would be the Cree.

Indian Ocean is the major zone in this game! I like that! (Sinhala)

Are you doing nation stats for every single NPC? Are there names for all of them? *head spins*

There are names and there will be stats for the NPCs. (stats'll be partially automated)

Now, I think that Indian Ocean's supremacy will be challenged by Europe... Colonial World War between the rising Europe and the falling Indian Ocean? Guess we'll play and see, though I would preffer Indian Oceaners and Europeans to cripple each other so Siberia would FINALLY rise to dominance in this world.

By the way, will some powers be less advanced then the others (also, will some powers be more powerful then the others, despite having the same characteristics, due to their location and stuff)? And will there be barbarians?

And finally, is that Middle Asian nation some Mongol leftover or a local nation? Did the Mongols ever rise to some level of dominance in this world?

While the spice trade is India-centric, conflict with Europe is forseeable.

There will be less advanced nations, of course. Indian Ocean>East Asia and Middle East>Europe>America will be the basic technological spread.

The storyline that I'm playing with is that the Mongols swept as far West as Krakow, but they were halted at Datong in the East. After a couple powerful Khans, much like the real world, the Mongols withdrew and curled up into a fetal position, where they currently remain.
