The fact that I, personally, have no way to ascertain where my views lie on the political spectrum notwithstanding, I'd have to say that I hold a moderate to extreme leftist political orientation.

Economic views: quasi-Marxist, Keynesian
Personal views: somewhat peremptory
Bureaucratic views: semi-democratic, authoritarian

I voted communism. My opinions have been summed up nicely by the other communist voters (especially JellyDonut) so i'll leave it at that for the present.

There are too many differing views for me to lock onto one particular party...

I support: Capitol Punishment, Welfare, Abortion, Defense spending, protection of small businesses, and Gun Rights...

I dispise: Big Business Monopolies, Oil Drilling ANYWHERE (Spend the money on research!!!), helping countries who can help themselves, and Polititians


Where does that put me?

It's kind of hard to decide where I fit in...I consider myself a staunch Democrat, as are most African-Americans, but there are things that I find wrong with the Dems, too. I don't think that the Republicans are any friends of African-Americans, yet there are some Republicans whom I admire, and many wealthy African-Americans are, in fact, Republicans. I know that I lean to the Left, but I do feel that we need more government, if only to protect the rights of the people, especially those who cannot speak for themselves. Except, that the government is going more towards this "states rights" idea, which I find ominous. Oh, well, enough of my rant. The long and short of this is that there probably is no category that best describes my political leanings.

I voted for "Mild Left Wing". In Israel it's the labor party. We don't really have a communist party. I mean, we have one, but it's an arab party, and not a very popular one, so only a few people vote for them. I think they didn't get enough votes to even get into the Kneset (the Israeli parlament). I don't believe in communism. It's just that I see what happens to the kibutzs (Sorry, can't translate it to English) - they become more and more capitalist, and there are a lot of fightings. In a kibutz near where I live, there are some major fights between the farmers and the kitchen workers. (I know you feel like lol when you hear this, but it's true) Anyway, the situation got so bad someone burned all the kitchen worker's cars. I don't want this in the entire country. We have enough trouble already.

J/k. I'm actually quite Republican. Pro-death penalty, pro-life (read: anti-choice), so on an so forth.
