[Extension] [POLL] More Wonders for VP

What is your opinion on Flavoured Help Texts unique for More Wonders mod?

  • I like them and I use them every game

  • I use them from time to time to check how they perform

  • I use them only to give some feedback to the author

  • I prefer original version, but I don't mind them

On the first page I see Moray Terraces Wonder (Peru, Medieval). I'm playing with 14.8 version and I don't see that Wonder in tech tree or Civilopedia, when it was added?
 
I think that theming bonus on Sigiriya could be increased a bit. Right now we have a theming bonus on museums 5 culture, while on a Wonder, Sigiriya 1 culture and 3 gold. I think that on a wonder we should get more than on regular buildings.

There are few WWs I made a plan for but haven't added yet (Aqueduct of Padre Tembleque, Moray Terraces, Buyuk, JFK).

Started a new game with new version of VP and latest MWfVP. Can't build Temple of Artemis - have no desert tiles and have plantation. Is something changed? Btw started with UCS.
 
For some weird reason Mt Everest doesn't provide 2 culture/science bonus to National Parks. Other wonders seem to work fine.
 
National Parks are separate modmod, right? Why would they give the bonus? I'm not aware of this modmod.
 
Hi, silly question. Does this work with MoreTech? I'm trying to get it working with VP and all that and it requires the older version of this mod, but I was curious if this one would work in place of it or if I need to use the older version instead.
 
More Tech is not compatible with most mods. I would say not.

HOLY St. Peter's Basilica (Vatican)
+1 :c5culture: and +4 :c5faith:;
+1 :c5happy: to all unique religious buildings;
+1 :c5influence: World Congress Vote;
free :c5faith: Cathedral;
3 free :c5faith: Inquisitors

I believe there is no compatibility with bare necessities, faith purchased buildings, the last game i played i believe i build Kongmiao, and it did not
receive happiness like the Cathedral..

So i would assume, all below are not working correctly..
Atash grants +1 Faith per CS Friend or Ally.
Aul's Great General Point reduced from +3 to +2.
Aul now grants +1 Base Military Supply and -5% Empire Needs Reduction in the City.
Kongmiao's GPP Rate reduced from +33% to +25%.
Jinja's Great Admiral Point reduced from +3 to +1

I can see something like that for the first time. Seems like some mod you're using modifies leader flavors and has syntax error inside. Look in database.log first with all mods loaded to see if there's something shown.

Depends on the fact, Bare Necessitites is loaded before or after MW. If after, then your buildings won't get the bonus. Bonus is applied by an automatic SQL query.

I am using JFD`s Prussia for VP and of course i tried it without it , i mean pure VP -the same error,mmh.

But that is not so important, my game seems pretty stable , turn 275 epic spped.

So i would to thank you for this wonderfull submod !!!

What about pineappledans New Beliefs mod? Running into the same issue here. And if it's a load order issue, how do I ensure one mod gets loaded before another? Like is it based on how they are listed alphabetically in the folder or what?

Also I'm wondering if we could have a change with the Red Fort? In my opinion its a completely useless wonder for the current game. Like usually I have to build it in my capital because it's nearly impossible to build finishers in smaller cities so the arsenal is kind of ineffective. The free engineer is a waste of space too as engineers become pretty much useless beyond the classical era. The 5 units increase cap, maybe it's okay but with caps in general being so high, who actually builds that big an army, I certainly don't. Also as a fealty finisher shouldn't it have some kind of religious bonus aspect? Maybe a free prophet upon completion? And perhaps a buff to all city castles? I don't know how you'd code the latter so maybe something easier there... maybe a free cover promotion. Something that ties in with defence at least. Just a thought :)

You need to create reference to this mod in my mod. Then my mod will at least try to search for yours and if it finds it, it should be loaded correctly.
Gimme mod ids of those modmods (Bare Necessities and New Beliefs) and I will add them to the list for another version.

Actually I'm looking at your modinfo file now and Bare Necessities is already in there under references. Maybe do we need to also reference your mod in both these other mods to get them to work together 🤷‍♂️

Nope this just crashed the game.

I did put New Beliefs mod id into yours like you said though but it made no difference.
