Yeah. MW got pretty heavy and something changed in the VP recently (around VP 3.3). I have the same issues, but it's not 100% sure. When you load the game from the main menu it is ok, right? We supose it's something related to allocated memory.

Unfortunately I cannot lightweigh the mod, because there tons of art in it. And the more mods you have, the worse this issue is.

Playing with a communitas map i get CTDs on reloading but when using fixed maps from eg steam workshop i NEVER get CTDs on reloading and i use a LOT of mods.
So i doubt its this mods fault. Always play on DX 10/11.

Yea these crashes seem super random. I play dx10/11 but for me the reload crash only happens when IGE+ and MW is active. MW by itself doesn‘t crash for me

Hey, awesome mod, just tested it out a bit

Whats the difference between the Hard and light requirements?

Just messing around a bit here, i felt like there were lots of times i should have been able to build a Wonder but i couldnt (for example, i had 7 cities but could only build Great Library in 1 of them, when from what i can tell it shouldnt have very restrictive terrain requirements). Is there something i might be missing?

I also have crashes when I reload. I play with VP3.7.7 and with DirectX 10/11 (no IGE+). It's not in all games. My previous game, no problem, the current one, almost every reload.
Until VP3.7.5, no problem.

It's a little restrictive but hey, I just found the Galapagos, wow, awesome!!!
Thanks @adan_eslavo and thanks to @ghost toast for this spectacular work :love: (I also like my SV icon :blush:).
On the other hand, as said above, it must be made passable, otherwise it is too restrictive and not very logical.

Hard requirements are very, very restrictive. There might be a situation when some wonders will be unbuildable because certain combination of terrains, features, plots and other stuff is needed.

Light requirements are very similar to what base VP offers. There may be 1 or 2 easy reqs or for some WWs even no requirements.

Remember to play with Era restriction, not to build Pyramids in Renaissance! ;)

I tried to populate it more with the tiles, but terrain became to clunky. But hey, it's Galapagos! It has to be isolated, right? Although in my tests there were situations when it had spawned close to big areas, so it depends.

In fact, I think the crash may be due to the latest versions of MUCfVP and not MWfVP. I downgraded to version 86 - 3 (sorry, Pinappeldan no longer increments : Israel Compatibility version) and there, no more problems. Does anyone have CTDs that don't use MUCfVP?

EDIT : no, that's not it, it just crashed.

Thank you!

I downloaded a PDF you made that has all the wonders. Looking at the Pyramids, for example, i should be able to build them in any City that doesnt have tundra within its borders, right?

And for great library, i should be able to build it anywhere, right?

Those two in particular are ones that i thought shouldnt have many restrictions from im reading but i couldnt build pyramids in any of mt first 4 cities and great library i could only build in 1 of my 7 cities, so im missing something 😞

Theres lots of columns to the right of the prohibitions that im not understanding (F/H, C, L, R)...are those some kind of restriction as well?

Everything you need is in the particular tooltip of a Wonder. Look there and it will tell you what is needed or forbidden.
Pyramids must be on Flat, next to a River, and there must be no Tundra or Snow nearby (city + tiles around).
Great Library requires Hill and one of the following: Forest or Jungle.

Code:
F=Flat
H=Hill

C=Coast
R=River
L=Lake

F=Forest
J=Jungle
M=Mountain (X=nearby, XX=next to)
O=Other (FP=Flood Plains, M=Marshes, O=Oasis)
This file is more for me to track everything, rather than actual players. Players should use the tootlips, or Wonder Planner modmod.

Every other column can also be a restriction (Building, Improvement, Resource or something more original)

Awesome, thank you!

That's very clear :)

Last question: does that mean unimproved tiles? For example, does a hill with a forest and a lumbercamp count for Great Library?

Hill and Flat means a tile where the city is built on.
Terrains checks tile under the City and in the ring around.
Lake, River or Coast must be adjacent to City.
Forest, Jungles, Oasis etc. must be in the range of a City (3 tiles). They can be unimproved. Just must be there.
If improvement is needed, then it's mentioned in further column.

Is it 3 tiles or actual max range of a city? Asking because the tradition policy finisher bonus gives +1 max range to the capital ^^
To be honest I don't know. Probably the second as they are defined in sql tables.

I'm also having very consistent crash on reload with this mod. But only on a per game basis. Some games there'll never be a crash, some game save will always crash upon save load. I play with a lot of mods, and had only experience crash after installing this. I suspect a specific wonder(s) is causing this. Maybe something to do with the art asset?

Another note, I absolutely love the wonder models, especially the 2-3 tile wonders. I upped the wonder count to 20 (in a 10 civ game) just so I could run into more of them.

Unfortunately I suspected the same and tracked which wonder could cause the issue, but even with small games having up to 4-6 wonders there were totally different combinations causing CTDs.

yeah i've been getting the re-load CTD *almost* every time with this mod -- but I have had it randomly work sometimes on reload too; AND I also occasionally get the CTD without this mod loaded at all on recent versions of VP and other modmod combos. Something about this one increases the chance however.

That said, I really love the natural wonders in particular, they're worth having to re-launch civ5.exe to load a savegame :D
