Pre-GodNES

Yes, you can survive for now

Myself and Groga are happily moulding the world around us (we're sharing origin point) and have its pretty much complete, even with 4 god points left to spend..

What do you plan on doing? (perhaps take to pm)

The Manatee approves of this venture, providing that the Manatee is fed, well by your followers when they pass on, or are weak and tasty.

To Amadea:
From Manatane:

Could i get an answer, or am i going to eat your first?

The Great Llama: to Szok
the great llama greets you and recognises your mastery over knowledge. One hopes that we may co-operate and work together to make a new Creation.

does Szok find this agreeable? provided she does not interfere with The Great Llamas duties?
What sort of creation does his Llamaness wish to create? I am listening.

To: Szok
From: Gillibaba

Szok, I would like to propose a partnership with you. I wish for my beloved gnomes to share in the splendor of your grand library but they are not meant to leave their paradise glade. Thus, I ask that you grant them their own small library, your altar of sorts, where they may glimpse the greatness of knowledge. In return I propose to give gifts of gadgets and devices to be on display in your holiest temple. Should you have an specific gadgeteering needs I would be delighted to tackle a problem for you.
How can your people seek knowledge if they are afraid to leave their own homes? However, I may be willing to allow them to do what you wish.

I will build a labyrinthine set of puzzles beneath your glade, leading to a portal into my library, thus not requiring their exit from the glade. Those who are worthy can then gaze upon pure knowledge.

That would be a wonderful idea.. if it weren't boring and unoriginal.

Why not make it U-shaped? Or a Mobius strip?
Toroidal?

BTW, I picture the Library as being in the middle of a colossal, overgrown, topographically exciting rainforest, suspended above a chasm, accessible only by bridges.

IGGY!

You HAVE to join us then!

Suspend your Library, over my bottomless pit, surrounded by Groga's colossal, overgrown, topographically exciting rainforest filled with Gorillas and Shazams!

This solution is even better than my own! It will give my gnomes even more reason to act with cleverness and cunning!

Wouldnt the books get wet?

The Manatane also has a little side stint in waste :)

So how many people are playing so far? I might start making a list of everyone.

EDIT: Forget it. the list made before has everyone exept for me on it. Wow, 20 gods.

zxcvbnm: the village of humanoids on my north eastern island isnt human, they are llamanoids.

with whatever creation points i have left (no clue what i have used) i will create another group of llamanoids on the south island of new llamopia, and a group of 100 humans next the Amaedea's Temple-Garden.

if i have enough points ill extend the coastline around my lands, and create a lot of hills around my islands. id also like the mountains to extend further north east of my lands, possibly to join that big grey hilly region.

and seeing as there are different kinds of terrain on the map now, id like to change my floating islands to Paradise Grassland.

to Manatane:
from Amadea:

An answer for what oh great fat one?

I use 3 ID on continuing to curse Mateivahchata with no love.
Use 2 on blessing Ilama land with extra love.
Use anything left to go across the land on a great tour to make sure that all are aware of my existence. (I am a very earthly goddess... literally).

PROVISIONAL ORDERS- Priority Order:
1- Order the villagers to sacrifice to the Manatee
2- Create a source of bronze for the tribes to make superior tools
3- Create more tribes to the north
4- Teach the tribes to use bronzes
5- Create the first Hero, a human from whichever tribe has been most sucessful in war so far

oh yeah, i guess id better see to my duties:

I plant a Dream about Me, Amadea, and Arktos, and the construction of the great temple of Amadea, of the generosity of Arktos and the magnificence of me in the minds of the leaders of every village on the world, as well as all the people in Llamopia.

i will check the sanity of everyone, making sure no one is going insane when they shouldnt. and i check no one is using magic without my permission.

My followers have their own afterlife, my sick will be cared for and my dying's pain will be eased. My people will not be sacrificed into your gullet.

(Hello? Good god here!)

However, if Darnang wishes to feed you, that's his business.

Hmm, might be a bit of a high concentration of gods :p. I don't really care which chasm it's suspended over.

With waterfalls plunging through the library to an endless caversn, measurless to man...
Perhaps being channeled into ornamental fountains...

Wouldnt the books get wet?

The Manatane also has a little side stint in waste :)
Given that this is a library run by a figure of godly powers, I don't think that wet books are a concern. ;)

OOC: How would divine conflict work, anyway?

From Darnang
To Kol the Undying
CC Manatee

When I made that agreement, I feared the Manatee would side with Ka in future conflict. That is why I am sacrificing people.

To: Darnang
From Kol the Undying

I see. Well, that's your choice. But I have different considerations to take into account and I will not feed this beast. I'd be interested to see what Gillibada has to say on the issue because something tells me he may be unwilling to destroy his creations. OI have no problem with you sacrificig to the Manatee as long as you do not expect myself and Gillibada to do the same. That is not to say I wont support you, I have powerful beasts of the forest under my control and I will send aid if you and Ka go to war.

To: Those Concerned about being eaten
From: Gillibaba

I do not think my creations would be of interest to the Manatee. My gnomes are tiny and bony and are protected by my golems of rock and iron. The gnomes themselves would not even be worth the energy it takes to remove all the sharp metal gadgets from their person before ingestion and the golems are completely inedible. If the Manatee wishes for food from me he may dine on foes who dare face my golems. I will consider making tributes of tuber beer and sending it in barrels into the river that leads to the sea.

From: The Eventual Eater of Those Concerned About Being Eaten, Manatane
To: Gillibaba

Your Gnomes will be eaten, but they will be moved down the list significantly, they do sound rather tasteless.

Tubers will be acceptable in leiu of direct sacrifices for the moment.

From Manatane:
To Amadea:

The Manatee has extended the Manatees offer of marriage on two occasions (really out of politiness for such a desperate diety :p).

And in addition the Manatane asked if Amadea would bless the Manatanes subject population... more people means more eventual sacrifices, we both benefit :)

EDIT: OOC: This is whats called a protection racket :)
