How does one become commander of the Imperial Fleet, or Army? Is there a certain House you must be aligned with? Such as a Major House or a Minor House?

Quick question, I'm not sure if it's too soon to ask questions about the units yet, but whats the combat abilities of a gunship? Or should we just use the Winter-Class Gunships as a comparison? I mainly want to know so I can know what my gunships can do.

Yeah, it’s a little early. I’m aiming to get the rules and units and factions all done by the weekend and the planet maps by the weekend after that. For now imagine something similar.

Every now and again all scepter holders will vote for the Reagent to the Imperium. The reagent can assign the imperial fleet, garrison and eye as he/she sees fit (with no house holding more then one of those commands)… typically this means that politicking includes bribes involving these command posts.

I think so. The previous player who had created them has disappeared from these boards pretty completely as far as I know. So yeah, they are open.

At the beginning of the game, we shall decide on a new Imperial Regent. Every house shall have a vote for every scepter they possess.

The new imperial regent will then choose nobles from houses other than his own to appoint for the Imperial posts.

The reagent can appoint a noble from their own house to one of the commands if they so choose. But one noble house cannot control more then one of the commands (though they can control a command and the regency).

I'd say, Thana, Vanari and Texier would be my hopes/picks (in that order).

And I fully understand about the guilds: as longs a Leugeheim's route was secure, I was safe from dirrect assualt by other players, and had a completly diffrent play style.
