Pre- orangeNES: FFHRemixed?

Ah, nice, you explained why the Amurite power was lost, if only those overlords had a brain or at the very least, "Courage (If you read LFG, you may just get this one... ;))." Then we would have had a new Patria... Maybe the Octopus Overlords are the souls of the dead Amurite Overlords...

Edit: Before anyone else gets to post, I have a limited offer. Anyone wants to explore Erebus with me?

P.S. This limited offer is not a trap :p

If any characters want to work together, that's fine - however, you may not start in the same place, so you'll have to agree to meet up somewhere.

EDIT: Actually, there could be some pretty wicked combinations... of course, it hurts that no one knows who anyone is yet, but that will likely change once I get this thing actually started. The only reason I haven't revealed the characters yet is because I thought the players might enjoy doing that (and because one or two of you may wish to keep your char identity secret for a bit).

Anyway, back to the combos - man, a couple of the characters could just wreck people.

EDIT (again): Last chance for people to ask questions before we actually start. More questions now mean fewer problems later, and fewer problems means a happier mod (and cake, as reward!).

While I'm at it, to the characters: surprisingly enough, most of you don't have an immediately logical place to start within the timeline. I've discussed this with one of you already (a bit), but if anyone has questions about where they fit in, ask - although, for the most part, it will be through your input.

To nations, you don't have to follow any of this in your rivalries or anything. Even the NPC's won't worry too much about the past when deciding the present. The only rivalries I won't really allow to die out is the Ljosofar/Svartalfar and Bannor/Clan - for obvious reasons. I'm not saying you have to fight to the death, or can't declare cease-fires. However, these hatreds are damn near hereditary, and any peace that exists will not be taken well by your citizenry. Should one side win (either completely, or through vassalization, or something), that may change.

Uhh come on guys, no one? NO ONE? :p

Yeah, no. Just trust me.

Hahaha... that's funny, merc.

Actually, you and Seon would make a nice grouping, assuming neither one of you killed the other one.

EDIT: I'm currently planning to get this started tomorrow night, my time - so about 24 hours from this post. As soon as I get everything set up in the new thread, we'll be good to go.

Thus, my final reminder: Nations, please get your leader/government infomation to me - it's not crucial, but I'll need it before the update. Characters, if you haven't started considering what you'll do for that mini-writeup I requested, do so now - all character stories must be sent to me for approval.

Oops, my hand slipped (hits merciary on the head)

Whoops I tripped. *tackles Seon*

Whoops, I droped a cavalry Rush

(50,000 Hippus suddenly appered on the bumbling Seon and Merc, both of them dying of lack of oxygen and the super-scent of Horse Manuare... or human manuare, Can't tell... they look like they are stuck together.)

"And then the hand of Mod appeared, and took up the hostile parties, and He spoke to them:

'I hold more power than any of ye. Fight no more, less I become perturbed and enforce a Pestilence upon ye, or flood ye out, or send mine controlled nations to remove thou from this place.'

And so, they chilled out. And the Mod was Great, and Awesome they called him."

But, But... *points to Seon* He started it. And he *quivering finger pointed at Charles* He's just a big bully picking us little guys. *Precedes to pout*

A couple small edits: The Luck variable for national units is slightly dependent on your Morale value. It cannot be higher than your current Morale*2 for new units - old units can be grandfathered in with better Luck. Once you get a Morale of 3 you don't have to worry about it.

That being said, every nation starts at Morale=1 with three exceptions. the Malakim and Balseraph have a Morale of 2, and the Bannor have a Morale of 3.

Ljosalfar Government:

As a result of a military coup a short while ago, the Summer Queen has been excecuted for weakness and Amelanchier, her general, has seized the throne of Summer. Immediately he disposed of the Aristocrats who had been running the country, and while they still control small Forest Estates they have had their power dramatically reduced. Amelanchier's commanders now act as Warlords, controlling vast swathes of forest, where the peasantry and nobility alike are extorted and drafted into warfare. The Capital of Evermore (Everwar ;)) has been mostly converted into a giant training camp for spurting out seemingly endless regiments of troops. It's craftsmen, once jewellers and carpenters now make weapons and war machines for battle with the Svartalfar menace.

Don't even say that word. Just seeing it reminds me of the unkillable zombie hordes I am for some reason expected to fight in FFHNES2 .

Your not the only one. I think everyone on the continent has to deal with them. Me and Charles have it the worst of any of the players right now and I have to take care of some civil issues as well.

You could hire my elven services. Iron arrows work against dead creatures too. Has someone got "life" mages? Let them bless wooden arrows and send 'em to my elves, these will "cure" anyone :D
