Cutting it close, aint we, Immac?
I dont suppose I could "discover" Ismordar's gold horde so I could issue orders this turn? Please found the trade post of Caszablanka to the... west, on the fork of the Sul River.
@nutranurse: In almost every kung fu movie I have ever seen, the kung fu underdog has to fight a massive, muscular foreigner. Just sayin'.
Could someone explain me how a halflling can draw a longbow?
I mean, these weapons are 5 or 6 feet long, so how could a halfling use one? Just the length of the arrow would be problematic for pulling?
Even with asymmetric handle as in Japanese bows, the shaft length is limited by the arms length.
(cf. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yumi for instance - even a japanese longbow for a 1m halfling would be no longer than 1.2m in comparison)
May I suggest the bows are actually short composite bows (same effect stat-wise)? I always thought composite bows were not given the respect due to them, all that only because Welsh and English longbowmen performed well in the 100 year war. On the other hand, Mongols conquered the largest empire ever with composite bows.
As am I.. Would composite bows hold up in the mountainous weather? I understand they need to be dry to function properly
