I thought Two Sicilies was a bit of a Spanish puppet as well. At least, that's what I gathered from the history (yeah, I read everything).
More like a client than a puppet, really, and influence in the government is split between the British and the Spanish. The Two Sicilies have a lot more room to maneuver than the Italian Confederation, both domestically and in foreign policy. Their northern neighbor, by comparison, would probably spend most of their time thumb-twiddling and taking France's orders. Even domestic policy is very difficult for the Pope to alter, since the various nobility (a healthy mix of German, Scandie, and French princelings in charge of Italians) hold a great deal of autonomy.I thought Two Sicilies was a bit of a Spanish puppet as well. I'm subscribing, and If no one else is taking them, I'll call dibs on Scandinavia. I noticed some interest in the great peninsula, but if nobody wants them, I'll take them. Refer to me as Magnus Andersen from now on, lol.
Why is that? Is it just me, or does Scandinavia look like it's about to eat Denmark?
That was shocking.Ummm... Siam would be pretty good I guess. Korea or Persia are also fine options too.
After the 1864 Schleswig-Holstein War, what Scandinavist sentiment there was in the United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway and in Denmark was seriously weakened. There's still an undercurrent in many intellectual circles, but for now the program has fallen out of favor. It'd probably take a major foreign threat to revive it.I figured as much. If they want to be considered part of Scandinavia, I certainly don't mind. The world needs more Scandinavians.
That was shocking.
I'll take Hawaii. It'll suit me well because I'm a NES ameture. When will the rules/nation stats be up?
