Prince Shadow Game

@lymond, @krikav - thanks again for your help and feedback.

I decided I was going to abandon this particular game and I hope you don't feel put off by that since you've spent so much time trying to help me. But, I wanted to share that your help is working and I am learning. To show that, I started another game and got Willie. My start was pretty decent so that always helps. In trying to keep everything in mind, especially early game, I ended up with a domination victory in 1844, which is the earliest I've ever done. I was more aggressive earlier on and took out Inca and Isabella, giving me a lot of land all to myself. I then took on Joao and he capped to me. Japan was next as I wiped him off the map. All the while Sitting Bull was trying to race for a Space victory because he was teching like crazy. He didn't get close. Finally I took on (geez, I forget already) to secure the domination.

So, thanks again for your help! I know that this is only one game and I'm going to see if I can get a few like this one back to back and then think about moving up another level. I don't know, we'll see. This doesn't mean I won't be on the board as I'm sure I'll do another shadow game in the future.

Spoiler Lymond - NFL :
Yeah, I think it was smart for your Falcons to load up on the OL. Obviously without a good OL the offense is going to struggle. I'm a little worried about the Rams OL since they lost two starters after last season. Hopefully the guys that have been waiting in the wings will be able to step up. I find I can't wait to see how the rookies are going to do after the draft. It's always a long wait from now until training camp!

Now please make another game, this time playing on monarch! I think the move from prince to monarch should easily be in your reach. These are always wonderful to read!

Yep, no problem at all @OldDude. I more about the "process" than the "result". Just the practice of these games, especially the early portions, go a long way to improving your play and moving you up levels.

Indeed, you can try a move up to Monarch. Conversely, you can also try a Prince Pangaea game and look to shave a tremendous amount of time off your finish dates. The more you play and practice, the more comfortable you will get wit the basic mechanics. Furthermore, you will become more confident in taking the sword to all the AIs and wiping the map earlier and earlier.

Hope to see a new game from you soon.
