Question about mods and updates

If you've downloaded mod(s) to the mod folder from our favourite website, CivFanatics, and they are no longer supported or cause issues after an update to the game, will the game actually tell you that?

No, the game won’t tell you which mod is causing the issue. I had a mod that stopped working today so I dmd it’s author and he was able to tell me which mod hadn’t been updated yet and was causing the issue, so I was able to go in and disable it.

That's the issue i'm having. There is no easy way to tell which mod is causing the issue. I'll just try swapping them out one by one until I find the culprit.

Game crashing periodically.
It's fine now. I disabled the TCS Outremer mod and the game is behaving normally now.
