I was thinking what to say to all this.
And then comes Ziggy and rounds it up.

THANKS!!!
On-topic.
I'm (99%) NOT answering questions about either "antisemitism" or "Israeli politics".
This was NOT the reason for this thread - Judaism in general was.

Yeah, I should rather add some direct links too.
I'll look into it.

And, WHY NOT?

The more we talk about Moshiach - the more REAL it becomes.
Seriously, one of the points of Moshiach Era is "Earth will be filled with KNOWLEDGE of God like the sea bed is covered with water".
So I'm actively increasing that knowledge by creating such threads.
And making such sigs too.

Fasting has a double reason.
1. Most fasts are a mournful commemoration of past events.
So it expresses our grief by fasting.
2. Yom Kipur (Day of Atonement) is a different type of fast.
It's the holiest day of the year - and it is both VERY serious and yet positive.
We truly repent our misdeeds - and then we know that God actually forgave us.
And this also adds more meaning to other fasts.
When we fast - it's easier to reflect on our past actions and repent for wrong ones.
Actually, I rarely feel hungry on a fast day - while I do feel hungry if it was just an accidental lack of eating (happens, you know).

Anti-Semitic is a miswording because it ONLY means anti-Jewish.
No more on this topic, as I promised.
Waiting for more NON-ISRAEL-RELATED questions, please.
