Questions for George Zimmerman supporters.

Of course there are going to be death threats. I'm not surprised at all.

I think Zimmerman and family will probably be okay, though. Of course that's easy for me to say.

Yes I made sure it was real... At first I couldn't believe my self either.
Why did you have that reaction?

So he was hiding somewhere with a clear view of the highway? Or did his lawyer text him right after causing the accident?
He was probably heavily disguised, which is why he was recognized.

Zimmerman doesn't seem to actually be in fear of his life at all. He may very well be living in the very same condo since he was spotted so close to it.

I'm sure those sunglasses he occasionally wore fooled a lot of people.

I wonder if he thought the label on the sleeve was a fashion statement.

1: Do you think what happened between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin was a tragedy?

Yeah.

2: Do you think GZ did anything wrong?

He decided to play Hero Cop and got himself stuck in a situation where he felt he had to kill someone in self defense. The cops even told him he didn't need to follow the kid, but he just wanted to be the hero so bad.

3: Do you think Trayvon did anything wrong?

I don't know. He didn't need to attack Zimmerman, but to be honest I don't know what he coulda done. If some guy started stalking me and thought I was shifty I'd get really scared. I might run, though I'd be scared he'd decide to shoot me if I ran. I'm not really sure what Trayvon coulda done right. Maybe just stop and ask the idiot what his problem was.

4: Do you think there has been a lot (not minor outliers) of racially tinged language used in defense of GZ?

Yeah, I've seen a lot of it anyway. Or maybe I'm just assuming racism when I see people talk about GZ like he's some hero for killing the black kid he stalked and probably scared the jimmies out of.

5: Why do you think people are disappointed by the verdict?

Because the victim was an unarmed young black kid. It's such an easy thing to yell "RACISM" at. And it's probably true. I'm sure Trayvon being black was part of what made Zimmerman suspicious. If Zimmerman killed some white kid though, I don't think it'd get as much attention if any at all. Also as much as the media has talked about it, people have had plenty of time to form an opinion and stick their feet in the ground on where they stand. The people upset at the case right now were ready to be upset months ago. I don't think the news should really put it's nose in trials like this...

Yeah, I mean I agree with the verdict I guess. Though I put at least 70% of the blame for what happened on Zimmerman... Maybe that's a bit much.

Yea that'll teach him pick apart his fashion sense!

It would certainly give them more than sufficient reason to follow him if there weren't any blacks shopping at the same time.

The sleeves are also too long. I guess this sports coat / suit thing is new to him.

George Zimmerman is wearing an off-the-rack blazer! Dear God, it is front page news.

Is Zimmerman's inability to find a decent tailor an admission of guilt?
Only terrorists wear their sleeves long.
Zimmerman versus GQ: Who Will Win Sleeve Battle 2013?

But seriously: It can be really hard to find a tailor that will properly pull back the length on a sleeve. Most jackets are sold w/ sleeves too long, but many tailors balk at the prospect of shortening sleeves.

That said, the jacket is generally too long on him. Looks like he got a tall when he should have gotten a regular.

It's like he can't do anything right.

You need to change where you buy your clothes if they won't even do something as simple as tailoring the sleeves of a sports coat to the proper length. That is basic and it is factored into the cost at any decent men's store.

Removing the label is as basic as it gets. But so is buying slacks that are the proper size. It is a good thing his neighbor took pity on him and took him to a decent men's store before the trial.

Unless you only shop at a single clothier that sounds like bad advice. Most clothiers' tailors will only tailor the clothes you buy at the shop. This leaves you at the mercy of what may be an inexperienced or inept in-store tailor.

It is far better to instead establish a business relationship with an independent tailor. They are generally more skilled and more experienced and will work on any garment you bring in.

First you claimed that "many tailors balk at the prospect of shortening sleeves". And now you claim they are just too incompetent to be trusted?

I have yet to find even a department store that didn't have a tailor who was incapable or unwilling to gladly shorten, or even lengthen, the sleeves of even a sports coat for free. They are far more capable and competent than that.

Bully for you. I've been warned off clothiers' in-house tailors by their sales staff.

Support small business owners by patronizing independent tailors.

I'm glad we are starting to get to the important facts of the stories.
