I don't have the game handy, but at the bottom middle of each city screen there is an area with small icons where you can make those settings.

How do you tell a city to emphasize on food or production?
Thanks in advance!

They appear when you have a worker or work boat selected. The circles represent the tiles the game feels you should improve.Oris said:Hey, i wonder what those BLUE circles mean? I think in tutorial they explained but i forgotThank you

However, a question - are there barbarian camps and goody huts in cIV as there are in Civ3?
There isn't any way to see that. When you're attacking (and it's your turn) you have the luxury of attacking at your own pace while identifying any information you want between attacks. When defending you cannot do this, so you just have to hang on for the ride, and hope you have the right defenders there.Jastrow said:Is there a way to monitor battles on defence? For example, I conquere an enemy city, and put, say 6 defenders in it. On the enemy turn, a stack of doom comes up to it and starts attacking. My defenders turn the first several away, but obviously are taking damage as they do so. However, I cant tell how much damage, or how the battle is going, since there are no displays of the battle results (other then win or lose). Am I missing it?

Try placing the mouse cursor right over the units you want to see, make sure that their stats are visible to you, then press enter to end your turn.
And let me know if this still works, and if it works for multiple units.
