Quote misattributed

This is a scene from Monty Python's Life of Brian, but Chapman played Brian who is not even in this scene. The character who spoke the line was Reg, who was played by John Cleese... you petulant heap of parrot droppings.
 
Splitting hairs a bit, but Graham was the first writer credited for LoB. Maybe that's the rationale?

But yeah, I mostly agree. :)
 
If he wrote the scene, then the quote is his. In any case, it's not what one would call a bug.
 
That's true. I hadn't thought of that. Didn't realize he was the principle writer, so that may very well be the case.
