Most men have that effect. Even I look five years younger when I shave off my face fuzz. :)

When my beard is "on" I already have some grey hairs in it , I kinda look like a parody version of Gordon Freeman :D

Always been a wording I associate with xxxx's civilian officers.

Facial hair regulations, the like.

Ah. I always see it as an advertising slogan. Pretty sure a winery uses it, and as I said I'm absolutely sure there's a strain of cannabis.

Mix 'em all together.

Some of those cats can really party.

I've given up on trying to customize that absolute trash indie football game I was playing. Why? Because despite ensuring I was going through the proper process to save my changes, a significant portion of my changes were not saving, wiping out hours of work. This also prompted me to leave a pretty scathing 1-star review for the game.

I basically said that indie devs don't get a pass for poor game design and the excuse of "we only have one guy that does the coding" doesn't fly when certain functionalities that are essential to the game don't work like they are supposed to. I also made some comments about the gameplay being trash since you can spam the same play over and over again and still win, no matter what difficulty you have the game set on.

And I'm serious in my belief that indie devs don't get a pass for bad game design. Especially since we have seen indie devs make amazing games, so this whole "they just don't have the resources" excuse I commonly see used to defend crappy indie games falls on deaf ears with me. I'm not asking for an NCAA Football 14 quality game, I just want a football game that does a reasonably good job of simulating the college football experience.

The only applicability I've seen for that excuse is graphics. Indy games are supposed to (IMO) be better in regards to gameplay issues.

For the UNM Lobos that would mean a 2-6 season and an empty stadium.

It's not even November yet and we're already having three days per week above 30 degrees

This summer is going to be brutal

I was quite confused by this post until I remembered the Southern Hemisphere exists and normal people use Celsius

We cool the air before it reaches you and you're still grumbling? :)

Hottest temperature:
Adelaide: 46.6 °C (115.9 °F)
Melbourne: 46.4 °C (115.5 °F)

Hottest Minimum:
Adelaide: 33.9 °C (93.0 °F)
Melbourne: 30.5 °C (86.9 °F)

OTOH, you get to live in one of the top 2 or 3" liveable" cities in the world. We can only manage a miserable 10th.

@Ferocitus When (which months) is the best time to visit eastern and southern OZ if you want to be outside/swimming/hiking/watching kangaroos etc.

I'd recommend mid-March to end-April and mid-October to end-November.
They usually have glorious weather, i.e. not too hot, but it depends on what you are used to. I assume Albuquerque is just as hot as Adelaide at the height of summer.

As you go north from Sydney to Brisbane towards the Great Barrier Reef it tends to be much more tropical and humid (like Florida?).

Thanks. I'm contemplating an OZ trip next year. High temps and dry does not intimidate me at all. :)
