What exactly were you hoping to accomplish with this? Generate outrage against someone who may have been verbally assaulted? What was your end game other than to poke @MaryKB for no reason?

Another update on the mess...so I talked with my ex for 1.5h. She's not good. I am okay though.
Just talked to her housemate, if coming over would help, and she thinks so. If my boss doesn't raise major objections, then I will fly back for a couple of days.
Only on Wednesday though, hope to fix the bureaucracy for the apartment I would like to take, and need to finish some urgent work. Also need to warn her with enough time .

I'm flying.

At least I can work while I'm there, although the head technician was not happy to let me tunnel into the network.

Seems the apartment problem just bombed though.

I wasn't aware that every post on CFC had to have a specific goal or intended accomplishment in mind. Having said that, some people consider postcount in and of itself to be an accomplishment don't they?

Anyway, it was a reaction to a quoted exchange that doesn't sound as though it would exist outside of a comedy sketch. But since it's apparently not verbatim then never mind.

Of all the years spent eating bananas, never have I bitten into one and had a banana with red fungus on it.

So I read a reddit post about it the other day, and hey, whaddya know, red fungus on bananas is a thing. I buy bananas and they get delivered today. I unwrap one, take a big 'ol bite, and there's red fungus.

I hope the other ones are fine.

That looks like it doesn't even have the "alternative cap" that my mother's prescriptions always came with. I'd have to open those for her the first time, but the bottles were threaded on the inside and you just flipped the cap over and it screwed in without any childproof latching.

That one doesn't look too bad, it looks like the one you line up and pop off, so if she lines it up for you it should come on and off like a regular cap.
