Trying to replace a clothesline today. I measured off 45' from the tree to the house. Now I knew that wasn't exact, because of where I could get the measure to. But after buying 100' of rope, I figured I had just enough. Just enough so that the ends touched, and not enough left over to make knots in the ends to connect them.
If it is a clothes line between a house and a tree, then in a wind, the tree will move a bit. Add strong/stiff bungee cords to each end (or at least the tree end) to get the length you need. 100' is pretty long. You might want to have a stick/support with a V notch at the top for the middle. It could sit elsewhere when not in use.

Maybe you'll get a discount from the 3rd onwards and it only takes 8 months besides volleyball team takes 6 so you'll need a few more in case Mia wants to play.
I'll use it. I just need to make a not exactly matching all that well splice. No sense in wasting it. It's only that long because that's where the tree is. I have nothing closer to attach it to.
Got a chocolate chip cookie from the nearby Whole Foods, which has an in-house bakery. Disappointing. Over-baked, or maybe was sitting in the display case too long. Not burned, but kind of hard to chew.
