I'm going to be basically cutting the bottom of my foot open so I can finally walk without annoying pain.
That sounds contradictory.

As trite as it may sound, I'll point out that you still have us. :grouphug:

I'm listening on my DT 990 250 right now :)
How is that one, taking into account your emoticon endorsement :p do you need an amp to listen on say your phone?

Not sure, never tried on my phone. Probably, given that I enable high gain on my FiiO E10K on the computer

I find it easier to walk with an open wound than with full blisters on the soles of my feet.
:twitch: It would be better not walk at all for a day or so if you can help it.

Absolutely impossible.

But, progress report: I bought a sewing kit to use a needle on this blister. It didn't work; the thing is buried too deep/in too sensitive a part of my foot. I can't lance it. But instead I used the sewing kit to sew up an old shirt of mine that ripped along a seam, and it actually worked pretty well (first time I've ever sewed anything).

Bigger needles.

Size of the needle ain't the problem. The problem is that pushing it deep enough to hit the blister is excruciating. This thing is right up by my second and third toes; the skin there is too sensitive :(

Clearly you aren't drinking enough.

I can't get that drunk because I have work tomorrow (I've had like 4 shots of whiskey already). If I was going to take a day off work over this I just would take Takh's advice and not walk at all for a day.

My feet certainly don't heal from blisters, popped or otherwise, after only a day of rest.
I know you haven't rolled the best in your S.P.E.C.I.A.L, but can you at least walk?
Absolutely impossible.
:undecide:

Instead of stabbing yourself, have you thought of first softening it up with warm water (possibly salted) and working away at the intervening tissue with pumice stone?
Or else, if you can afford it (I have no idea how much it costs there) see a podologist.

:grouphug: I'm sorry. :( Was this sudden?
He was in the hospital for the past couple of weeks with stomach problems, last time i talked to him he'd been in hospital for over a week and they still had no idea what was wrong with him.

Well, I softened it up with warm water already, but the problem is this blister is not under a callus, it's under my actual skin.

My boss wh i've known since i was 16 died on saturday, i no longer have any friends.

My condolences. Also, my rant is that this rant makes my rant seem trivial and stupid (that's not because it is trivial and stupid, mind you)!
