Windows Vista's Administrative Crap gets on my nerves too. I know security is good, but this is almost as bad as the security at major US airports.

I've noticed Civ4 has a bad habit of crashing when you're running a game larger than 2,400 k(whatevers) and on vista 32. It's very annoying, and my civ4 days are pretty much done since I don't enjoy playing civilization games that aren't excessively large and mod-excessive.
Vista is being ********. It won't let me launch Civ3, it says I must log in with administrative privileges first. There is only one account on this computer, and it's the administrative one. Clearly, I am a fool and Microsoft is all-knowing, their interface is far more intuitive and simple than my brain could ever possibly comprehend. I am also not smart enough to appreciate the beauty of glitches.
