WHAT THE . .. .. .. .!?!

Me no understand.

I've got an exam tommorow... I don't think I can take much more of this. Thank GOD it is the last one (well... until January 12th. :()

For a nation of pigs, it sures is funny you don't eat'em! Jesus Christ forgave the bastards, but I can't! I hate! I hate you! I hate your nation! And I hate your people! And I . .. .. .. . your sons and daughters because they're pigs! You're a pig! You're all pigs!

Just half to one more page of BS to finish a paper, but unable to come up with any more material. Then it's on to studying for an exam on material I've slacked off on quite a bit.

Exams actually looking ok for me :p.

But right now, I cannot possibly seem to find this piece of music stuck in my head, despite the fact that everyone knows it. I've googled search out anything and everything on mozart (I think it's him, but then again it doesn't look like Magic Flute or Don Giovanni or anything I found so maybe it's not) but don't know the name of the music so I can't find it.

It's that very dramatic, opera piece that plays all the time in commercials too! Really, everyone knows it and I'm so angry I can't remember. Never even memorized it for quizbowl, I should know the name but I don't!! Something like this:

*very high pitched strings/women sing, then gets lower (high pitch, low pitch*
ding DING ding ding
ding DING ding ding

ding DING ding dah dah DAAH dah DUH DUH

ding DING ding ding
ding DING ding ding

ding DING ding dah dah DAAH dah DUH DUH

I don't know the words to this, I am quite sure it's latin but maybe an outside shot at Italian, but it might have something like "sanctus" in it, then again if you recognize it by this point this would sound really stupid of me, but anything that helps, y'know.

Ahh I just got a powerstrip or whatever you call it on my braces

The weather situation is still up in the air for tomorrow.

My roommate is OCD over these cockroaches. God damn. I'm choking on the airfreshner he just sprayed at the heating vents. I'm gonna have to kick his ass soon.

Is it 'O Fortuna' by Carl Orff?

Yes, it is. THANK YOU! Wow, so I was always off on this anyway, good to know now. Wiki says the music was only written in 1935, I had thought it was much, much earlier by some classical composer (wrong about Mozart) to have become public domain. I suppose I should cross-reference this in the Random Raves thread cause that put my mind at ease before this next exam, thanks again for the help.

Edit: Also, Carmina Burana! I've seen parts of performances of that before, otherwise it's all over various pop culture things of course. I never would have gotten that through google searches last night, but I KNEW it was part of that. I'd made all these dumb searches for "Operas in Latin," "Opera with giant wheel" etc... and nothing came up (It's not really an opera either so I was just off, I knew it wasn't the actual opera Carmen). I think there's even a song in there about revelers cooking a goose, in my search history is actually "Opera with cooking goose" so really once again I appreciate the help.

Snow cancelled school. Normally, this would be a rave, except I had 2 tests today that I really wanted to get done before the Winter Break. Now, the day after winter break ends (The weather situation looks like there's not going to be school tomorrow or Friday, either), I might not be able to count on one hand all the crap I'll have to do. Why couldn't it just wait one more damn day to snow?

Damn you choxorn I didn't get nothing off from school today! Just a soggy walk to school.

I imagine, in a little over an hour, nothing will be quite as fun as taking a final when a woman problem and the very recent death of my great aunt are both hanging over my head.

I feel sorry for my friend. He's got a gorgeous sister but can't do anything about it. :(

I'm sorry to hear that Just, but good luck!
