Random Rants X: Mraarrrrrrr!!!!!!

Yeah well he probably gets to stay an extra two days or some ridiculous stuff like that.

Well, it might be less then 4 for me due to snow, and I might get a few 2-thirds-of-a-full-day due to the snow (2hr delays), so, meh.

It's seriously 60 degrees outside where you live???

Ouch. How many of those were related to each other, if I may ask?
The pooping happened on my two hour drive to the dentist and the ticket was on the way home.

Also my computer died today. I will take it to a computer fixerer's tomorrow but I am going stir crazy without it. (no, the computer lab is not an adequate substitute)

Also, though the root canal sounds bad I have been in constant pain for like a month because of it so I am just happy that it is over.

Also did I mention that the ticket will result in me losing my license if the cop actually shows up to the hearing?

i hate cars!

my car needs new pads, and the rotors might have to be machined. Also, the drums in the back have an f'd up spring or something (they fail when I brake hard) so that might cost more money.

also, someone backed into me at low speed and knocked off my front licence plate mount... nothing was broke or damage other than the 3 little screws, but the nearest place that has the little screws in stock is a half hour away.

also, I was driving my roommates car and a pebble cracked his windshield. Remains to be seen whether he'll want me to pay for it...

oh and my check engine light has been on for weeks and weeks.

and I need new lock, as somoene tried breaking into my car awhile ago and jacked up the lock with a screwdriver.

goodbye new computer! goodbye eating anything but poor college student food for the next two months! goodbye long-overdue dentist appointment! hello car repairs galore!!!!!!!!

Man, nothing like sitting on your couch with the X-mas tree next to the open sliding door, letting the warm 60 degree air in. Regular winter wonderland this is.

See, me, I would put our weather in raves.

(I am actually going to be facing real snow for the first time in 3 Christmases when I go to Denver next week.)

Too many philosophers, too little time...

Woah...started exercising again yesterday after a long period of doing nothing. It made me oversleep and late for a meeting with my friend who waited 40 minutes in the bleedin' rain. Not only that, but my leg muscles are sore like hell and I have no idea how to pull through it tonight. I mean I like the pain, it's the good sort of pain, but still....

Too many philosophers, too little time...

Stop reading "great dead" philosophers and read contemporary stuff instead! Unless you're just reading philosophy to impress people by name-dropping your "favorite" philosophers, in which case continue reading great dead philosophers.

wait, by philosophers do you mean philosophers or some lame thing you think is deep?

Have you read stuff by that Italian guy whose last name begins with "Fl"?

I mean I have to sum up the evolution of rational thought and its place in society in two hours starting with Thales and ending with Aquinas, and I have to be detailed enough to demonstrate that I paid attention in class. If he didn't grade as harshly as he does, I wouldn't be as worried.

Though I would read up on them anyways. There's a reason I'm taking another one of these classes next semester
