Why, oh why, whenever i have an essay due I find a sudden enthusiasm for doing anything but work on it, I've already cleaned the kitchen, hoovered the entire flat, arranged my CDs into alphabetical order, rediscovered the forgotten charms of Classic FM, started posting on this forum again, taken up drawing again and considered emmigration and looked into steps of achieving it.

I just got the red ring of death on my xbox 360 for the first time...
My team had a big basketball game today that we needed to win. The schedule said it was at 1:45. However, apparently, the league changed it and never informed our coach. So I get a call at 12:20 saying tip-off is in 10 minutes from the one person that was there because he happened to be at the gym early. Only 4 players are there (they have their full team) at 12:35 (they delayed tip-off 5 minutes) and we start the game. We have not warmed up or anything, but we manage to stay in the game. However, the officiating is god-awful/I wanna tear my eyes out/punch the ref in the face awful. We got a technical foul for giving the ball to the free throw shooter instead of the ref on a foul. We end up shooting a solid 5% from behind the arc and we lose by 8. What a BS game, the whole thing was just ridiculous. We easily could have won and we should have, but that gives no excuse for the stupid circumstances surrounding the whole game.

I've think I've just lost my mind. It's been coming for some time, but I looked in the mirror and saw the madman eyes staring back at me. Oh and I've heard out of nowhere a friggin classical concert playing in my head and an african tribe preforming some ceremony. Splendid.
