Oh man, I can totally picture you carrying some old ladies groceries to her car in one of the big brown bags you Americans use for groceries (obligatory French bread stick pointing out the top). But it ends well, you bang the hot check out chick that your mean, jockish but dumb supervisor also lusted after but failed to recognize her smarts and sensitivity, thus leaving the door open for you to swoop.

I'll miss 2012, I mean, sure it was bad from a "what happened in my life" point of view, but there was little controversy about how to pronounce it ("Twenty Twelve" just felt right), it was only three syllables and it just rolled off the tongue.

I don't think we'll see a year like it again in our lifetimes

I did my civilian service mainly in a kitchen, and I lost weight during that time, although I had something to eat all day.

I was playing with the Source Recorder in Garry's Mod. I was impressed but when I went to convert the video I got this annoying webm/VP8 codec file that I can't seem to do anything with and when I tried to load it with an avs script in VirtualDub it locked up

Perhaps next time Ill just load up the demo and record it with my usual directx recorder

I'm so bored I spent the last minute checking if "wikipedia" in the Japanese wiki was written in katakana. Note that of Japanese I only know that it uses three different "alphabets".

Weirdly the sound disappeared on live playback of the demo.

Anyways I found another option in the video dialog for turning it into an OGG Theora video. I test that out. Hope it works better.

Try playing with Source Filmmaker, I heard that it had a steeper learning curve.

I took two looks at it and then felt my brain implode.

On the other hand, the Source Recorder, once I figured out the format issue, rendered quite well (as compared to recording it 'live'):
