Yes. But they're a very confused bunch. How could the mother of God have not been born until about 2000 years ago? When God himself was at his most active 6000 years ago?

And where's his Dad?

Call me old-fashioned, but any theory which includes the phrase "and at this point a miracle happens" isn't going to satisfy me.

Well, if you accept the Trinitarian view of God, it's fairly easy to conceive, if not understand. :)

woe being me, i also threw up into the toilet last night.

Which, of course, is the best place for that, and earns you the tacit thanks from your roommates.

You Unitarian rebel, you! :D

I left a hotplate on that I used for cooking. It had been one for over 6 hours with just a frying pan on. Thankfully nothing bad happened. I obviously left it on by mistake, but it could have been a huge mistake.

New Jersey boardwalk's on fire.

Damn it, God. Why do you hate fun so much?

Bastard.

Looks like Antilogic won't be getting his family iced-cream this time, then.

There is election coming up here and I'm a bit frustrated.
Spoiler :

Where I live, you vote for the local MLA (Member of... I forgot the rest. It's a provincial thing while the MPs are federal) and whichever party gets the most MLAs electioned their leader becomes the premier.

Anyways what happens is I don't really want to re-election the premier because I do not agree with many of the things he does, but more locally the candidate who i personally think is the best candidate is also in the same party. So if I vote for that candidate I also vote for the premier who I do not agree with. It is horribly frustrating to not know what to do.

That's precisely why a Presidential (or on the case of our States, gubernatorial) system is superior to a parliamentary system. That is, of course, just my humble opinion. I'm sure there are plenty of fans of parliamentary systems around the world.

I haven't voted since 1990 midterm elections in California. So, my solution was obvious:

BOLSHEVISM...

But, that may not work in... um... Nova Scotia? (a guess)

Well at the moment overthrowing the parliamentary system is a bit impractical, so I'll need to think more on it

Wah? You got, like, two weeks! In 1917 it was ten days! (Well, plus 100 years.

Seriously. You at least have a system that can accomodate alternatives. The US system in one party with 2 wings.

Bummer. You'll just have to run for office yourself ;)
