Yeah, last time I checked I was over 3,200

When you speak you are hearing your voice resonate inside your skull, your chest cavity and stuff like that. It sounds fuller and richer to you than it does to everyone else because only your ears can pick up those resonations as they are physically attached to you.

It sucks and it is jarring, but your recorded voice really is how you sound.

Damn, I thought that the microphones distorted it some way (I'm pretty sure that at least the crappiest do). Regardless, am I the only who likes the recorded voice a lot more than the one I hear?

So I was depending on a friend of mine to show up and help me with a project. It appears he has stood me up despite the fact that I've practically carried him through some of our classes with my help. Flakes

Now my friend is sending me all sorts of naughty fanfictions just because she thinks my description of the scenes is hilarious. WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!?!?!??!!!

Send it to an elderly family member and have them describe it to her. Should fix your problem

I don't have any elderly family members. They all died.

Well that is amusing. Perhaps I should change it to something else.

@c_h: With your Avatar Switch Avatar, I keep thinking you're Traitorfish. :p

Now you are choxorn.

Still needs absurdly large eyes to be choxorn. Maybe a dog head.

This weird thing is happening to my internet where large ads show up places they really shouldn't be (Wikipedia pages and between every couple of links on Reddit, for instance) and strange double-underlined hyperlinks that only link to other ads highlighting seemingly random words on a lot of places (here and Cracked, for instance).

It's insanely infuriating.

You have some sort of malware or virus. Run a full system scan then if that doesn't fix it, go into the list of installed programs and start deleting unknown/suspicious stuff.

:thanx:

Already did the scan, and already looked at programs list, but apparently not hard enough. Found the program responsible. It no longer exists, and the ads are all gone now.

:thanx:

Anytime. If you do not have an active subscription for your antivirus, I suggest buying one. Absent that you can get Microsoft Security Essentials - a free full antivirus from MS. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of a paid subscription but it's free, effective and always up-to-date. That should stop further malware attacks. :)

I hate coding. Hate it. Yet not only do I have to do it, but I have to teach myself how to do it since it's essential for my degree and work but no classes that explicitly teach it to me are part of my degree program. It's going to be a long night on top of a long day.
